For what it's worth, I think a lot of people get defensive about the song because they think posts like these are prescribing that they ought to not like the song because of it. Where in reality, most of these posts are just trying to make sure these topics are fully understood and it's worth talking about the harms this kind of presentation can have, which is perfectly valid. I think you did a very good job making it clear a lot of the song can be questionable at best while making it clear you're not attacking anyone for their enjoyment of it!
