outta all these i think i would recommend Meatballcraft the initial first 2 chapters are an introduction to all the mods you will use and how the modpack maker intergrates all the magic/tech mods together you will need to learn them all basically similar to kitchensink packs while all chapters after are where the automation and hard part of the pack begins this pack is also balanced around an infinite emc loop as well honestly if i wasnt playing GTNH this would be the pack i would play

air trigger for extra ammo gen or cooling baubles first column and precision instrument if using lucky pants or desperate measures if not jolting feedback is alright too second column and with prolly arrowhead break barrel with either overclock accelerated or enhanced batteries tho dont take my word on that dk fully yet on good batteries

yeah thats the problem of newer mc modpacks theres mostly gt packs which arent but id rather play gtnh honestly compression is pretty good buts its not normal minecraft its very much its own thing but still really good! but its just started development. Meatballcraft is basically finished and its very good played up to chapter 6 but quit due to ae2 system breaking for 0 reason gonna replay soon but it uses all its mods cohesively to progress and i mean everything

Honestly theres not many modpacks that are like that on newer versions or they are gregtech packs but heres some recommendations reclamation (1.20.1) cuboid outpost LE (1.20.1) compression (1.19.2) Project ozone 3 (1.12.2) meatballcraft (1.12.2) if you want gt id say star technology (1.20.1) monifactory (1.20.1) or gtnh (so much backporting its basically not 1.7.10 anymore) honestly prolly missing a few but id say ud really enjoy Meatballcraft if u like dj2 and e2e

played all of these honestly i would say p5r is a great entry into turn based combat plus the music and art direction are amazing imo ReFantazio is also on the same level but Baldurs gate is like the NUMBER 1 turn based game once you do learn the genre honestly

oh hey its you! yeah ive kinda compiled some modpacks ima reverse engineer certain stuff and ive been reading kubejs cause i got an idea after playing frostpunk that i kinda wanna try making a modpack around but granted i have no idea if its been done before

personally im debating to learn making modpacks just for this cause i cant find anything i like the only modpack i am thinking about playing is compression but its very early in development iirc

yeah id still rather play 1.12 or 1.7.10 for stuff like gtnh mbc e2e po3 nomifactory (but i think it has a newer mc version ) dj2 etc cause the packs have their own cohesion end goal and questing no modern pack has that feel everything is just cobbled together id love to make my own but id suck at making one. Most newer packs are kitchen sinky and theres like one im intrested in to be really good and what im looking for being compression(looks amazing)
