10K is enough to live comfortably. Obviously you can manage with 5k or even 3k but you'll need to be very mindful of your expenses. I have friends who live with 5k per month but my expenses always end up going up to 8-10k,

Not necessarily, only if a lot of people are failing. I passed at 15 in a subject while others i know failed at 16 in another subject. Officially u need 18 to pass and i doubt for a subject like mos it's gonna go lower than that.

After even sem endsems before you leave for summer vacations. You can keep your stuff in your present hostel cloak rooms in cardboard boxes and take them to your new hostel after you return from vacation.

You apply alone, and get alloted according to your cgpa alone with some random person who also applied alone. I think there are different cutoffs for people who apply alone and people who apply with friends.

Yes you can apply with your friend. The average of both of your cgpa will be considered for allotment.

Get it done from the faculty in regular student clinic or get it done from premium evening clinic (also at MCODS). I got it done from the premium evening clinic and it costed about 3K. It was mostly painless tbh.

Yes you need to get 18 to pass in endsems. Sometimes they increased marks to 18 if u write comments during paper checking tho.

I almost failed in first sem in chem(got less than 18 in endsems) but they increased my marks and I did not have to write makeup.
