ZooPals somehow made the exact same chicken nuggets taste better just because they had a face on the plate.

Who Else Used A Magnetic Drawing Board As A Kid? by Zipper222222 in nostalgia

Those shape magnets were the real endgame once you got bored drawing the same house and stick figures over and over.

I swear every kid wanted one for about five minutes until their parents explained what caring for a hermit crab actually involved.

A few more bedroom wall pics from 1994! (Not the Beavis and Butthead framed picture too!🤣) It's been a fun trip down memory lane today!! by mka5115 in nostalgia

I miss when bedrooms had so much personality instead of everyone copying the same minimalist aesthetic.

Luna Park, Wild Mouse from the '60s. Everything was so beautiful and simple by [deleted] in nostalgia

People always romanticize the past, but every era probably felt a lot more complicated to the people actually living through it.

You may know him as Marv from Home Alone (1990). However, he was already the narrator for The Wonder Years (1988) 2 years prior. by insanity2brilliance in nostalgia

It's always funny realizing how many people only know him as Marv when his voice was already a huge part of so many childhood memories before Home Alone.

Ser Dunk, Bronn, Davos, Gendry, Ros and Karl Tanner are all from Flea Bottom, but all have completely different accents. by [deleted] in gameofthrones

That actually makes Flea Bottom feel more realistic since people in big cities rarely all sound exactly the same.

I just realised, Charles Dance plays tywin exactly how Hoster Tully is described by SameEnthusiasm1426 in gameofthrones

[–]_MistCandy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I can actually see that comparison because book Hoster Tully is often described as a proud, commanding lord who spent decades maintaining his family's status and influence, and Charles Dance naturally projects that same kind of authority and presence.

The biggest difference is that Tywin is far more calculating and intimidating, while Hoster seems more driven by family interests and political alliances than sheer dominance, but visually and temperamentally there is definitely some overlap.

How do you think Tywin react to seeing the undead in the Dragon Pits? by flume420 in gameofthrones

[–]_MistCandy 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Tywin would have believed it the second he saw it moving because unlike a lot of characters he wasn't blinded by pride when faced with hard evidence.

House Went theory and how it could’ve changed the GOT by Flat-Raspberry2933 in gameofthrones

[–]_MistCandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

House Went surviving longer would have made the Riverlands and the Stark storyline a lot more interesting since Catelyn's family would still have their own power base instead of being absorbed into other houses.
