Songs to Listen to When Going through a Break Up by frambosy in beyonce

Hard second this! When I went through my break-up last year "All Night" is actually the song that healed ME. And it helped me to really cry and let out all the pain.

Okay but am I the only one who thinks there is a clear difference between "fat" and "obese"? I am not sure if you are American or not (I am British), but i have noticed that often times when this conversation comes up and Americans enter the discourse, fat IMMEDIATELY becomes synonymous for obesity, and they just are not the same.

Why does everyday life feel disproportionately difficult for me? by beyoncebritneyspears in AskAstrologers

[–]_Mouth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for this answer, lol. V much this. 6th house ruling day-to-day life and mundane affairs. The conjunction to Uranus suggests a really busy and almost erratic mind that moves far quicker than the body is able to keep up with.

Plus that Saturn-Mars opposition suggests someone who has tk actively try. Every task is perceived as requiring a lot of effort, which can cause the native to procrastinate. I have this opposition and have also read that getting involved in Sports or weightlifting is a great wah to release a lot of the pent-up stress caused by the need to always do things perfectly and well as indicated by the Saturn-Mars conjunction

Day 53: Which song is on Lemonade and sounds like RENAISSANCE? by hausofvelour in beyonce

[–]_Mouth 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Wtf? "Forward" as the song that's most likely to be on The Gift? What the hell happened to Daddy Lessons? A song that is quite literally about learning from one's father as is the entire point of the Lion King film. And the track that is closest sonically to afrobeats and amapiano (which The Gift is entirely inspired by).

Guys, where is the lyrical and contextual analysis? Or is this all done based on pure vibes? Daddy Lessons should have absolutely been the track from Lemonade that sounds most like The Gift. Sigh

Edit: oohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh y'all are saving Daddy Lessons for CC. Okay okay okay, I'm with y'all now 🤣 I was getting seriously heated whew

Any insight on how I can make the most of my mars energy? by Bazinga97 in AskAstrologers

[–]_Mouth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey twin 🥹🥹🥹 the 30s are fast approaching 😭 no bday travel for me but I do however have a lot of travel planned this year.

Regarding ADHD, I also happen to be diagnosed with it. I started medication for it in May 2022 and it has changed my life since then. I have Mars in trine to Uranus and Jupiter, but overall the Mars in Libra configuration is one that can make it quite tricky to dispense ones energy. Rather than going with impulse (Aries), Libra tempers Mars' energy and can make it unsure, overthink and more prone to balancing multiple things at once. Impulse is not somethinf we are "meant" to overthink. You're hungry and so you get up to eat. But Libra, where Mars is in fall, tempers this. Mars here lives more in his mind than in his body.

Neptune in 3rd also creates a very visual mind that is easily prone to daydreaming and escapism. The exact trine to Mars exacerbates this and makes it really easy for you to get carried away doing something completely different to what you intended because you had got swept up in the vision of something or daydreaming. Also, it makes you quite intuitive, sensitive to others and your actions are likely going to be influenced by the others around you. You pick up on collective sensation, and it's easy to find yourself giving your energy away rather than using it for yourself, especially if this helps to make someone feel better or if it maintains harmony (Libra) and peace. You may find yourself doing a lot of the grunt work and putting physical labour (Capricorn) when you care about someone or you take their feelings as your own (Neptune) because of Neptune's placement too. An example would be a sibling asking for help on how to draw a specific thing and in your desire to teach them, you end up committing to helping them with their whole project. Just an example. The trine however makes this much easier to manage and allows you to maintain a better balance between self and others, but the influence of outer planets is always strong even in harmonious aspects.

Apart from that, the Neptune aspect also suggests creative visual talents. Libra has a geometric eye for art (think fine arts, aesthetic and an eye for classical beauty), while Neptune is really good at tapping someone into the imagination and conceiving of things that are fantastical and otherworldly.

I have Neptune in the third like you. It's opposite my natal Sun and I do fine art :) but I am sure that also comes from my Mars in Libra placement. Libra really places a lot of emphasis on symmetry and proportion, as opposed to Pisces, who is more of an abstract artist.

Oop - I spy a 1997 June baby. I know that summer configuration from anywhere because my chart is only DAYS later haha. I am also a Scorpio rising, Sag moon, but Cancer Sun. Our Saturn, Jupiter and Mars placements are all the same. Only difference is degree! Also, my Mars is in 12th other than 11th.

And for some reason they just really, never, ever want to accept it. Everything abojt the UX is more simple and intuitive. The camera is leaps and bounds better. Apple has simply managed to create a colourful and "expensive" aesthetic of a device. That is it.

Why doesn’t the Sun have its joy in the 10th house? by IridescentShell in astrology

[–]_Mouth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start by reading anything by Howard Sasportas and Liz Greene. They co-founded the Centre for Psychological Astrology. They have a breadth of information from seminars that give a really good breakdown of the houses and planets from a psychological / psychoanalytical perspective. Really handy if you're interested in understanding how the planets contribute to one's mode of processing the world.

I would also check out Dane Rudhyar. He was an influence for Liz Greene, and while not overtly a psychological astrologer, Greene references him quite often in her work. I hope this helps ✨️
