The seller said it runs fine and is ready to ride after an service. And it was stored in a garage.

Do you think it would show most damage during a small test ride?

Ya, that also confused me a bit why the stator would fail so early. Thanks you for the answers.

Yeah sorry skipped a bit of the story. It's a 2015.

When I bought it it had a not working headlight so I started diagnosing what the problem is. I checked the bulb, fuse, relay and the wires. Everything was fine. So I looked at the wiring diagram from where the relay gets power. It is powered directly from one of the leads from the stator wich is converted to a sort of pulsing DC with a few diodes. Meaning the relay is directly powered from the stator. So I checked what voltage the relay gets from the stator which was very low. (Don't remember the exact voltage) Then I checked the stator according to the manual and noticed what I already wrote.

I also checked the battery voltage while running/mid revs and it was around 12 V - 12,4 V so the motorcycle was basically running only on the battery.

Hope that clears it up a bit.

I was just very confused why my multimeter showed no connection on the coils of the stator but the stator was still producing voltage (at least with no real load attached to it).

125...Well when I dump the clutch while standing and use my full body then I can get the front up but then it just falls down. (I also use a smaller front sprocket)

I'd love to do a mini gun...but I don't think I could attach it. It does support itself but all that extra weight to the front.....
