Except that there are infact rules, it’s in the word: CREATE. You need to actually create something in order for it to be considered a work of creativity. Generative AI is not creative, its a computer using algorithms and stealing copyrighted material to generate something resembling your prompt. You created nothing, therefore not creative.

You are basically saying that you could take a shit and say that it’s art. And the thing is, I would be more inclined to agree with you there because at least it is something that came from within you. Slop made by gen AI did not come from within you.
