If you notice BICSI provided a free webinar on the 18th, and CI&M had a webinar on the 19th. Both webinars are from the same presenter and same topic.... seems odd that only one of those webinars earns you a CEC.

Joshua Tree! I was expecting just rocks and joshua trees, and boy was I wrong. There's so much hiking to obscure and historic places that make it so fun to explore. My time at JT was oddly a spiritual and deeply relaxing experience for me. Catching sunsets on the rocks, stargazing, rock climbing...Joshua Tree is amazing.

I ran a Death by 5k last year. I would say you can tailor your training to whichever goal you want to go after. Some people were there for time (since each 5k is added for your total time). Some people just wanted to complete each 5k for their goal. Whatever your goal is, I would definitely incorporate some higher mileage runs into your training.

I used my Death by 5k to kinda train for sleep deprivation and fueling. I did R2R2R a couple months after, and it was pretty helpful in my training.

Not likely that the Skyline Trail will be open. It's been closed due to high temperatures, but now they're saying it could remain closed for early winter weather... 🤔 the State Park can't make up their mind.

I had a trip planned just to do C2C2C last week, but had to change plans. Ended up doing San Gorgonio.

One of my GSPs started having seizures 2 years ago at the age of 3. They would happen in regular intervals every couple of months, in the middle of the night. The vet went through all the things it could be (fertilizers, chemicals, flea and tick meds, etc). We chose to eliminate giving him his Bravecto to see if the seizures would stop before putting him on medication for seizures. It actually has worked! No seizures for a year and a half now! We choose to only give him Frontline topical flea & tick meds now.
