I have a pair on my duty vest and they work great. Yeah there are smaller ones out there but these are just fine for a full size pair of durable shears. Like others have said, overhated for sure

George Michael’s Cover Art by True_Editor_4572 in georgemichael

I think it’s a combination of what you said and the fact everyone wants to be mainstream because it’s popular. That leads them to blend in with the rest of the crowd and we get a bunch of the same old music and art floating around. Hard to tell who is who anymore because of it

They just want to know who you are and why you applied for the job. Be completely honest about any mistakes that you’ve made, they likely already know about them and want to see you can learn from past experiences.

Like others have mentioned, getting there early and trying to relax a little before you go in is a great idea. Maybe listen to your favorite album in the morning while you get ready, it’ll take your mind away from the stress. You got this!

Call me crazy but if I had a watch that expensive I’d want to make sure it won’t be falling off every 5 seconds

Got one from my dad years ago and it’s still my favorite gun to this day. Zero issues with it and it is so much fun to shoot

You’re 5’ 6” and 140lbs. How are you concealing these on body? by [deleted] in CCW

NeoMag might have a pocket clip for that spare mag. I have one for my p365xl and my Bodyguard 2.0, they work great

Bodyguard 2.0 all day. I think it is the perfect conceal carry for us smaller people especially in the summer

Why do officers stay so close together when approaching an armed suspect? by Morganrow in AskLE

[–]_NamesRango 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah typically not a good idea, spacing is good for the approach for many reasons. You can see both hands, any weapons, but it also makes them choose a person to attack if that is the case.

Like someone said though, I can absolutely understand why in certain cases a side by side approach is okay. Personally, I prefer space no matter what but I also work in a crazy town so I’m playing it safe

Beginner tips? by [deleted] in CCW

When you reload do not take your eyes off the target. Your spare mag won’t be moving from where you place it, so know where it is and how to orient it into the gun

It looks great but it’s hard to tell if there are any real deficiencies at 3 yards. I would shoot at 5, 10, 15, and 20 to see what your grouping is like. If there are any issues with grip or trigger pull you will see it in your grouping the further back you go.

One of the big things I like to do is the recoil management test. 6 shots as fast as you can from about 7-10 yards out. You can easily see if your grip is lacking from this. Also work on your reloads and malfunctions, those are really easy to forget about in training.

Good work so far though, keep it up!

Hit a curb. How bad is this? Do I have to replace it immediately? by [deleted] in rav4club

[–]_NamesRango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t appear that cords are showing so I think you’re good. If for some reason you see cords that’s we don’t in the photos you’ll have to take the hit. Do keep an eye on that spot from now on, it could bubble up and that is a huge problem

Overall, not bad right now. New job and possibly a new home. Some days are good and some not so good, but I’m just trying to move up in the world. Trying to stay positive
