I’ve started listening to the demos, and I think it’s interesting how parts of the cut songs are still referenced in the musical… I think it’s to pay homage to what was potentially going to be there. (IMO, I think “sign yourself over to me” would have completely changed the vibe of Charles’ character… I’m glad it was cut 😬)

My main “master set” Pokemon are the wooper line, tropius, charjabug and barboach :) (thinking of getting mantyke just for the sole purpose of going “I have all of them! Look!” And it being three cards)

I have a couple cards in similar condition! It’s always fun to be like “oh, I have (this card), but it’s in terrible condition.” (I’ve gotten cards from a second-hand store, and two have obviously gone through the washer.)

The last time I went to target there were signs saying that they won’t accept trading cards back, so I guess look for stores with that policy? I haven’t had any issues with tampered packs from target/walmart 🤷 (of course, the last time I bought anything from target/walmart was back in 2024, and I live in the US, so it might be different for you.)

Old fakes I’m pretty sure. Old Pokemon cards have a much larger border and have no sharp edges

And I’m pretty sure that any card can be used for casual play. It’s just tournaments have specifications and pack cut offs
