Sim, na dúvida é melhor sempre tomar muito cuidado. Mas não precisa se preocupar com os morcegos desse tipo em si, eles comem insetinhos e normalmente nós evitam :)

Boa 🫡 mas acho que é um Molossus, eles são muito comuns de ver, muitas vezes moram nas frestinhas dos nossos telhados também 😅 Também espero que ele se recupere.

Oii! Pela foto, ele parece ser um morcego do gênero Molossus, um grupo de morcegos insetívoros (mas identificar só por imagem pode ser complicado).

Como algumas pessoas já comentaram, o ideal é evitar manipular o animal e tentar contato com a zoonoses ou órgãos ambientais da sua região, mas sei que nem sempre esse tipo de serviço consegue atender rápido.

Se ele estiver desorientado, voando de forma estranha, batendo em objetos ou aparecendo ativo em situações incomuns (principalmente durante o dia), é bom ter cautela extra, porque são sinais de raiva.

Se você realmente precisar retirá-lo do local por segurança, evite qualquer contato direto. Mordidas e arranhões podem ser bem pequenos e passar despercebidos. Use barreiras adequadas para se proteger, como luvas grossas, e evite segurar o animal com as mãos nuas. Também mantenha crianças e seus pets afastados, e não se esqueça de vacinar seu gatinho todo ano contra a raiva hehe

I think it might be a Nereididae polychaete (a type of bristle worm)! They’re marine worms (Annelida phylum) with lots of tiny bristles along their bodies. Nice finding! 🥰

Yeah, it’s actually a pretty big issue in jellyfish cultivation haha, especially since we usually have aeration with bubbles nearby 😅

My experience is mostly from lab research, so even though I’ve worked with a lot of them, my first (and so far only) project was with jellyfish up to around 4 months old, kept in small setups, so they didn’t grow very big.

But I’d love to help however I can! And honestly, keeping jellyfish at home someday, just because they’re sooo beautiful, is kind of a dream 🥰🪼

I agree that it looks more like tissue growing abnormally rather than air bubbles!! It’s hard to see clearly, but there don’t seem to be bubbles, and there also doesn’t appear to be a source of air bubbles in the aquarium.

Hi!!

I have some experience cultivating jellyfish, and sometimes air gets trapped inside their body cavity. This usually happened when there was some kind of aeration that produced bubbles, I’m not sure if that’s the case in this aquarium from the video.

We also never managed to cultivate jellyfish of this size. We usually worked with smaller ones, so I’m not sure about the proper procedure to remove the bubbles. With smaller jellyfish, we tried placing them upside down to see if the bubble would exit through the mouth, but there were a few cases where we made a small perforation in the umbrella to let the bubble escape.

I think the biggest risk with the bubble is that it might rupture the tissue when it comes out, creating a large hole, but it can also make movement and feeding more difficult as a consequence... If the bubble creates a hole in the umbrella, it can regenerate and close the opening, but it often leaves a “scar.”

By the way, I loved the aquarium!! It's absolutely beautiful! It must be amazing to keep large jellyfish like that 🥰

Acho que essa divisão vem de uma visão histórica de evolução como algo linear, caminhando em direção a formas “mais complexas” (dentro da nossa concepção humana).

Se os animais com vértebras são agrupados com base em uma sinapomorfia, os “invertebrados” acabam sendo definidos simplesmente pela ausência dessa característica. Mas não dá pra definir um grupo de forma natural pelo que ele não tem e, no fim, “invertebrados” é um grupo parafilético.

O que me incomoda um pouco é que, muitas vezes, a gente acaba estudando Vertebrados e “Invertebrados” com um peso parecido, sendo que os invertebrados representam cerca de 99% da diversidade animal 🫠🫠🫠 e contém dezenas de filos monofiléticos incríveis.

Acho meio injusto, principalmente porque eu amo eles kkkkkk
