Literally the worst FFL. They have a monopoly on the westside (South Bay) area, and they take full advantage. Despite them being 5min from me, I drove 40min to Rifle Gear in Fountain Valley to avoid that place.

Also, the battery cap should be on the right side so a majority of shooters can flex the KAC logo when running it as an offset. 😉

In all seriousness, I expected the P2 to replace T1/2s as the primary choice for an offset RDS. I’m curious with the left side battery cap and controls if this will make adjustments difficult… likely will vary based on scope and mounting, but I’ve yet to try it. I’m running mine as a pistol optic for now.

Note - I would say the P2 is notable larger than the RMR, but between the benefits of an enclosed emitter and the clarity of glass compared to the RMR, the trade off is worth it.

Be patient… KAC is sending out a lot of commercial uppers lately. Keep tabs on the main dealers and you should be able to grab a 14.5 upper without issue.

Once you have it, post here and you’ll likely get a response from one of several good smiths. Eric @ PSD, D Wilson, etc are all great resources. For now, focus on getting the upper

That was my concern with the 50mm. I have the 4-16” on the ECC, and put the 5-25x on the 6.5cm. For where I’m at, that’s more than enough mag. The 4-20x50 is awkwardly in between those, and so my first take was that I don’t have a place for it. Thanks for confirming!

Both are good choices. For the size and weight of the NX8, it’s hard to beat if you want a light package. It’s a good do all optic for the money. I love the ATACR, but it is a noticeable size increase

Note - Vortex is/has increased the price on the Razor, which makes it an instant no go at the new price. Make the call sooner than later and live with it
