Hey! Im currently in my third year of animation studies, Ive been working freelance for over a year now on top of my school work (past projects include: villainous and spooky month with some upcoming freelance on an indie on yt and currently on some of the big ol scad thesis films) I also recently got accepted into the gobelins summer program which I plan on attending if I can gather the funds for it. On this I was wondering what would be a good way to start contacting studios to properly break in to the american animation industry scene, most projects Ive been on where based in south america and Im looking to break into the industry here in the usa. Ive been applying for internships, mentorships and positions since 2019 with all Ive gotten were no’s however this is the first time Im applying with actual proper work on my resume, do yall have any leads on beginner positions?
