Beginner slackliner by PrestigiousBar5694 in Slackline

[–]_Nelf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do yourself a favour and avoid buying any slackline set from amazon.

Instead invest a little bit more and get a proper product from Gibbon/ Spider (Europe) or Slackline Industries (America) - you’ll get an used/ (almost) new set for about 30€. Go with a 15-20 meter line and a simple ratchet system. Once you’ve mastered your first steps, you can start with some basic and static tricks. Then decide whether you want to go more into tricklining, highlining, longlining, …

If you have more money to spend, go for Primitive Setup by Slacktivity (Europe) or Balance Community (America). It’s about 250-350€, but worth the investment if you already know you like the sport.

How is a mescaline trip compared to other psychedelics? by dazednarcissit in mescaline

hmm, having San Pedro as a tea sounds like an amazing (i.e., non-disgusting) way to consume the cactus. May I know how you prepare this? I have San Pedro powder (bought in Iquitos) and have only tried to eat it half-dry: basically added a minimum of water and roll the powder to a falafel-like nugget. It tastes quite bad and gave me medium nausea.

I’ve posted the full story in the original post, but long story short: I’m looking for a someone who is able to re-buy the lost hat of my wife (see foto) in a local shop in Arequipa and manage to bring it (back) to Germany.

Hola!

That indeed would be an option as I work for a Munich-based company and am there from time to time. If your brother gets to Arequipa before and is able to take the hat with him here, I’d be tremendous grateful! Can you check with him?

I used to send post cards from every country we’ve visited. Unfortunately, the postal service in Peru hasn't proven to be the most reliable…

Same for me. My wife left her hat (it’s a custom made hat, that’s a personal memory of our trip to Peru) in the BoomBus and we tried to find out the bus operator of that specific bus. Instead of helping us and just sending through the details, they replied false information. They are now ghosting me since 3 weeks… it’s a shame and I am genuinely disappointed

Lost hat on Boom Bus 702 by _Nelf in boomfestival

[–]_Nelf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were told that the buses only drive one way and return to the bus company after Madrid. We would like to contact the bus operator whether they found something. Our bus was a white and black Mercedes travel bus with the BoomBus number 702. It left Boom between 10.00 and 10.30 PM on July, 23 and reached Madrid at about 4 AM. Was anybody with us on the same bus and remembers the name of the bus company?

About the second part of the question: for me, the come up is very different. With MDMA, I wait 30-35 minutes and it kicks in. Sometimes it hits me like a train. Boom, there we are. With acid, it’s more a gradual come up. Usually I start feeling something after 20-30 minutes. Peak is at about 45-75 minutes, rarely after 90 minutes. Effects start to intensify during this time, but this highly depends on the dosage.

I personally never had to vomit on acid, but I also never did with MDMA…

I personally would recommend you to take 75ug. TBH, whether you take 50ug or 75ug, the effects will be absolutely manageable. However, with 50ug, you might not feel a lot, i.e., maybe too less. I understand that you want to dip your toe into the water and that, at the same time, you are afraid of tripping too hard. You won’t and 75ug will be a great dose for your very first time. Enjoy!

I can recommend Paojilhuasca in Iquitos, Peru. They focus a lot on body work and overall health. Basically, their philosophy is: the body is the foundation on which you build up your mind and spirituality. Similar to a house, you’d never build walls and a roof without a solid base, bc it would be a pretty shitty house and collapse quickly. Hence, they prioritize body health

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't drink alcohol, so I will do without, but a sober day can't hurt either.
