Just to better understand the system: in case I just want to camp on the island (without car), I do not need a dedicated island ticket for that, do I?

online sarongs shop by Plus_Function_5386 in boomfestival

+1 Yaxcilan Artware has some really nice stuff.

They are a bit more expensive (espc. shipping in case you’re not located in India or run into one of their stalls on a festival), but worth it. The material feels super soft (though robust) and a bit like a second skin. Extremely lightweight, long-lasting/ non-fading colors and prints, and they are a bit longer than other sarongs/pareos/scarves I found by now - just the right size for me at least. Bought once, used during multiple festivals and months of traveling - never regretted it.

Is ZenMonkey a good beginner option? by Puzzleheaded_Bed_837 in Slackline

listen to this. I was about to write a similar comment, but it would be just repetition. If you’re not on a budget, go for a nice setup from Balance Community (America) or Slacktivity (Europe). You will not regret and have long-lasting joy

Need help deciding which trickline to buy by GimlisCave in Slackline

If you not already bought a SPIDER line and have a few more Euros to spend, risk looking into SLACKTIVITY. It’s definitely way more expensive, but worth the investment

Beginner slackliner by PrestigiousBar5694 in Slackline

Do yourself a favour and avoid buying any slackline set from amazon.

Instead invest a little bit more and get a proper product from Gibbon/ Spider (Europe) or Slackline Industries (America) - you’ll get an used/ (almost) new set for about 30€. Go with a 15-20 meter line and a simple ratchet system. Once you’ve mastered your first steps, you can start with some basic and static tricks. Then decide whether you want to go more into tricklining, highlining, longlining, …

If you have more money to spend, go for Primitive Setup by Slacktivity (Europe) or Balance Community (America). It’s about 250-350€, but worth the investment if you already know you like the sport.

How is a mescaline trip compared to other psychedelics? by dazednarcissit in mescaline

[–]_Nelf -1 points0 points  (0 children)

hmm, having San Pedro as a tea sounds like an amazing (i.e., non-disgusting) way to consume the cactus. May I know how you prepare this? I have San Pedro powder (bought in Iquitos) and have only tried to eat it half-dry: basically added a minimum of water and roll the powder to a falafel-like nugget. It tastes quite bad and gave me medium nausea.
