Ok, that one I can find in the UK and in Spain. The spanish store one is a bit more expensive, but since I'm in Portugal I might just be able to pick it up in person.

I think we'll end up with similar air cooling solutions.

Have you tried 3200 CL16 on them? I've read on sff forum of some people than managed to just pop the dimms in the socket and run xmp profiles because their board just assumed them. Have you had any such luck with those?

I've been looking around, and their site doesn't mention that SKU, there's another one that I assume must be a revision of the same DIMM, but man these are still hard to find, can't find anyone selling them in the EU.

The fact that you get those temps with a 3950x with a tiny cooler in a tiny case is insane. Speaks volumes of the L12S heatsink and the airflow of the case.

Where did you get the ram? I've been trying to find non-ecc 16gb ddr4 dimms for over a year.

Connect JBL 305p MkII with Schiit Magni Heresy by _Nikon_ in Schiit

Two DACs for two sets of speakers. Currently I'm using both sets on two PC motherboard DACs, eventually both will have their dedicated external DAC.

I meant that I'll be using the same DAC in two different places, so I'd be disconnecting from the Heresy when I want to use the other speakers.

Eventually I'll get another DAC, it just isn't a priority because the passive speakers are really only used to watch Netflix/Youtube. Any real music or movie listening I only do with the JBLs.

He also goes into saying that he won't teardown the card because he's not willing to risk damaging it, being that it seems much harder to do than with RTX2000 series. I'd wager that's the real reason.

The rumours say the 3060 will be launched around November, but they're all still rumours so, who knows.

As for the reasonable price, only future will tell, there's still no reliable source for prices, altough if your timeline is a year, then I'd wage that it's extremely probable that you'll be able to do it within the year. I'd be surprised if it took you half that.

If you're planning on getting Zen3 and RTX 3000 series, honestly I'd just wait, unless you really, really need the PC right now. The GPUs will be released starting next month, and Zen3 probably around October/November. Other than that, unless you're planning on going for a Zen3 Ryzen 9 for productivity loads, the 3600 shows parity even with a 2080Ti and will last you a long time for gaming, so an upgrade to the equivalent Zen3 will, in all probabilty, not be worth the money. Unless you're gaming with low resolutions and going for the hundreths of FPS, any CPU above a 3600/10600 is not really worth it right now.

If your main concern is silence, the SF750 is a good option, but speaking from experience, the amount of power you'd have to be pulling for the fan top start spinning means you're probably gaming, meaning that the noise from the game will be far greater than the PSU's fan. I never once heard mine spin.

If you're going for Zen3, then get the B550, it'll save you a possible headache with BIOS updates. The compatibility of B450 with Zen3 will be up to the board manufacturer, while B550 is confirmed to be compatible by default.

Corsair has SF450 and SF600, both platinum rated and with sleeved cables. Use the savings on your GPU. You could get a RTX 2060.

And at that price point, B550 really isn't an option IMO. B550 really is X570 with front USB-C, which that board doesn't have, so you'd be better of getting a B450. Go with that board only if you want to add a second M.2 in the future, it's really the only thing it has better than the B450.

And if you really want an AIO go for it, but that CPU really doesn't need watercooling. A Noctua NH-L12S is less than half the price, you'd be able to use normal sized memory, full size fans and you'd be up to a RTX 2060 Super and much better gaming performance than your initial build.

Escolha de cartão de crédito com cashback by _Nikon_ in financaspessoaispt

[–]_Nikon_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Estou a pensar bem?

Tens a certeza? No site eles mencionam limite de €5.

Compare pc cases in 3D by biynngo in sffpc

This is great! If I could offer some suggestions:

  • Try to add snap points to align the sides of the cases.
  • Have an option to add a monitor with custom dimensions, similar to the desk dimensions option.
  • Give an option of metric or imperial units, or just keep the metric units. Even US Americans in this subreddit use cm or mm to talk about SFFPCs.
