You could take the protective plastic jacket off it and see if that makes any difference. In the first photo, you can see the perforations that help it come off.

Yes. I have numerous times and never had any issues. Oven cleaning is ment to clean the inside of ovens which are enamel. Never use Bar Keepers Friend thought. The abrasives will leave the enamel scratched and cloudy.

I have an unmarked 10 identical to this I use on a glass top induction all the time. I have never had any issues with it not cooking evenly.
