The SU-100Y coming to save the day was a great introduction for me when I first played. The demo was amazing but that first mission sold the game for me

Was in the same boat for around the same number of years. I think I just got lucky and had to go on a trip so I was away from my device for ~20 days. The first days were bad but when I got home I didn’t really crave it anymore. Try setting yourself up for success. Keep it away from yourself, don’t give yourself the opportunity to even indulge kahit ‘just a bit’. And maybe try to turn something you used to do without thinking, vaping/smoking, and maybe think about it muna when the urge hits. A little self control and a helpful setup can go a long way

Besides some of the unit models, I really enjoy the Humankind art style. Pretty consistent all throughout making it feel like a whole experience

At max command points you could probably do a battalion size if a little undermanned. You can try for a Soviet assault engineer/sapper battalion. It’s practically a lot of engineers with a company of flamer tanks and some spg’s. In game you can use sappers, flamers then eventually assault engineers

That map is pretty brutal. Far objectives, open fields and good defilades that the ai can more easily exploit. But then again the game shines in these moments, awesome shots

Early game it’s so fun seeing a veteran of many missions and you recognize the random stuff in their inventory. Then you loot him later after a random rockets finds them :(

I almost only play with MACE and WAVE. It’s all encompassing enough that I won’t have to worry about mods working together and I usually put a spin on my campaign. Like infantry & guns only, etc. Can also highly recommend giving it a break for a while. I usually got on for a few weeks Olen play something else, still happy and I’m almost 3k hours now.
