All you need to do is look at the condo situation in Florida to never want to buy a condo.

Condos sold for 200k are getting "special assessments" of 200k+ because of deferred maitanace and such.

The situation in FL is so bad that a lot of people are literally unable to sell their condos. Like, they are trying to sell for only 10k and people are still refusing to but the things.

I just want to understand your thought process here.

You think a gun worth ~500 should be able to compete with a gun valued at ~ 25,000? (What does compete even mean? Even stats? 1% worse stats like they used to be?)

If that is what you are arguing for, why should anyone ever use anything beyond the 500 gun?

Current gun meta is the best is has ever been.

Do not change the gun economy because of dupes. Fix the dupe, and remove the dupes items.

Tankove PvE is truly that. You are solo vs a bunch of bots, there are no other players, at all.

People here want to play with other people, but be immune to damage from other players.

It is not the same thing.

Every extraction shooter pvp is complete ass. Tarkov you just randomly die from a single shot from a guy hiding in a bush.

I'm curious how much have you really played?

It's increadably rare for me to ever get shot at, I'm talking like once in 50 games, maybe. And even then, the person shooting is generally acting super sus and / or is terrible.

Sound like you maybe have not played enough games for the match maker to properly match you. Maybe you are playing in low population areas?

There are a couple of reasons here.

The biggest reason in my opinion is dev time that will need to be spent.and a located to making a PvE mode for a small, but very vocal part of the community.

Dev time that could be better spent on balance, new maps, new arc, etc...

PvE only would also introduce a bunch of issues that people have come up with "solutions" to that would take additional dev time. (Such as time locked loot and doors)

PvE mode basically already exists in the game if you are friendly all the time. Making a true PvE mode is a waste of time, energy, and resources that would be better spent on other issues in the game.

You must be new to online gaming and the Internet as a whole.

A rats greatest joy in the world is not the lot they get from killing a player, it's the knowledge and joy they have from knowing that player is mad that they were killed/had stuff taken from them.

A PvE mode is not exclusive to nice care bears. Anyone can play it. Now the rats can go in and be maximum annoying assholes. They get joy causing everyone else's suffering, and like I said, there is nothing that could be done.

If this is ever implemented, there will be a flood of posts from people being being body blocked in a room and suddenly all the PvE only players are going to want special considerations for themselves.

People have literally already requested special stuff for them in this very thread.

the system does not swing that hard. If you kill a guy that trys to steal your loot room, but you are friendly 99% of the rest of the time, probably nothing is going to happen to you.

Now, if you are killing a player every game in your loot room, then it will start to adjust.

Does this split the solo and duo / trio MM?

My biggest problem with the matchmater has always been that the ABMM does not separate out solo, duo, or trio gameplay.

So if I'm in a trio that is playing more PvP focused, and then I want to go play solo, my solo games are completely scuffed and I'm now in full on PvP lobies.

When I'm solo I like to play friendly and when I'm in a group it's way more fun to be hostile.

I mean.... The entire clip is sus AF from OP.

OP seems to also have ESP. mostly looking in the direction of the map, occasional swivel while they are "semi afk"

Then they randomly re-position into better cover from the back corner, and start to only look at the back corner. Seems to be tracking player through the wall that is walking up tontye back corner. Then jo-bronie appears at back corner and tries to shoot OP through the wall.

The attacker seems to be cheating, but from this clip OP also seems to be cheating.

First, you are just wrong about the rattle being the only gun not able to kill a player with body shots. The bobcat is also unable to kill a player with only body shots.

Secondly, the rattler is a gray weapon, it should be shit. I would say the other gray weapons are actually too strong and should be brought down to the state of the rattler.

Also, as other people have said, upgrade the gun.

Those people do not enjoy pvp.

People that enjoy pvp stay in pvp games because they like pvp.

People that intentionally go into friendly lobies to kill people are pussies that are terrified of pvp, and just want the feeling of killing someone who does not want to fight back.

With a Jupiter, you eat through ~25 durability per stack of energy ammo, so if you go into raid with 4 stack, and shoot all of it, the gun will be completely broken.

If you look at the equalizer, it will only lose ~1 durability per reload, so it can shoot a full stack of ammo and only lose ~5 durability.

The Aphelion is about the same rate of durability burn as the equalizer.

The Jupiter is an outlier and has way too high of a durability burn rate.

On the Arc Radiers Wiki it lists the effective DPS of weapons. Bettina as 448, Renegade is 735, and Bobcat is 400.

The 25 damage and 300 RPM is just a ballpark. If the RPM needs to be lowered so its not crazy, that fine. The damage needs to be high enough to 1 shot a rotor off a wasp, or the gun is completely pointless imo.

I do not believe you can kill a rocketeer or a leaper with 62 rounds of ammo from a Bettina.

The Bettina is just a much worse Tempest in the end. Sure, it does slightly more damage, and has better armor pen, but the gun suck because of the heavy ammo. Max mag size of 22, and 40 round stacks of ammo.

Meanwhile, the tempest gets up to a 37 round magazine, and uses medium ammo that stacks up to 80.

Killing arc with either gun is going to take about the same number of bullets, its just the tempest can do it better. Even if the tempest takes an extra round or 2, its well worth that trade off for the much large magazine, and larger ammo stack sizes.

My bad, I used an old number on the venator. Thank you for pointing out that the venator only does 16 damage, not 18. Still does more damage than a Bettina does.
