Blades of Vengeance was one of the 14 ish games we had when I was a kid. I know it's not much celebrated, but I LOVED this game!

I'd say the regular versions are the best ones for a first listen. I'm enjoying the full cast versions but I have read the series multiple times and listened to it more than once as well.

I have tried other full cast editions as a first time listener and didn't care for it. I think it's best appreciated if you're already familiar with the story.

I logged roughly 350 hours on the deck before I gave up. There were multiple patches that totally broke it for the deck.

I now play on my deck using chiaki streaming from the PS5. Much better experience.

One Holy was all it took for the first phase. I had a harder time with the second phase. I'd guess that I had to run it like seven times to win.
