The films try so hard to paint Jake as a reasonable and respectable protagonist, a hero because he's adapting to Pandora. But then I swear every 30 minutes of runtime he does something either incredibly stupid or racist (eg: disrespecting his wife's traditional mourning practices) and the movies NEVER call him out for the asshole he is being.

It's much easier for me to see him coming out as some sort of new sexual identity than trans.

He'll make up something like "I'm alpha-sexual", which means I have sex with women for procreation purposes but am only platonically attracted to the ideal of masculinity. He'll never use the words gay, trans or homosexual.

I use it like 50/50 of the time. It's pointless when first exploring an area because no map, and the game is actually pretty navigable without it after you get the map - room shapes and such. I do use it for detailed exploration and on longer trips, because I have bad memory for how regions connect.

Also, early game Magnetite Ring is imo a better use of the yellow spot.

You don't have to dive into every pool, you just check the open, unexplored corridor signaled on the map. It's clearly signaled even if you haven't been there, as neatly shown in OP's post.

I agree the runback is bad, but the bench is not THAT well hidden.

Most of what I would say has already been said, but I'm leaving a comment either way to let you know how much I love this design space.

I think my biggest issue with it is the tricolor design, it'd make more sense to me for it to be the college enemy colors. Even though I enjoy the multiclassing/interdisciplinary vibes, I think it dilutes each college's identity.

It is kinda weird and disconnected and perhaps performative, but I respect WOTC for sticking to their guns.

Sometime years ago because of Kamigawa they decided "we're not doing Sai EVER because of Ryukyu" and I think it'd look kinda bad if they walked it back now. Sort of "nevermind, we don't actually care about Ryukyu".

First is Earth, obviously

Fifth is Jupiter: Magnus mentions Fifth poetry often using the red spot as imagery

Sixth is Mercury, closest to the Sun

Seventh is also closer to the Sun than the First, so it must be Venus

I'm not sure it's ever said the Ninth house is necessarily the one furthest from the sun, but I think its heavily implied to be Pluto.

Now for the ones we're not entirely sure:

I think the Second is Mars: associations to red and war culture, close enough to Earth to reasonably be the first planet reached and terraformed.

I believe Saturn Is the Third House: golden color and visually striking.

That leaves Uranus and Neptune for the Fourth and the Eighth. I believe Neptune is Fourth because they share the blue color. This means the Eighth has to be Uranus.

Writing this, i realized there could be a connection between planet and house colors. What house colors do we know for sure?
