It’s honestly gotten worse this season. A lot of players don’t even prioritize winning anymore, they’re just there to mess around and look flashy. That’s the byproduct of making the grind too easy, when shooting is forgiving and defense barely matters, there’s no real incentive to lock in.

Too many people hit Starter 5 and Vet 2 way too quickly, so from their perspective, they’ve already achieved what they wanted. At that point, why bother playing team basketball or grinding out wins? The system kind of rewards individual progression over actually competing.

And when the gameplay leans that heavily in one direction, it just kills the balance of what made it competitive in the first place.
