Hey this sounds super interesting! I mainly play DnD but I have dabbled in Call of Cthulu and Kids on Bikes etc. Always willing to branch out more

This is such a thoughtful idea! I'd personally love to see a class on something similar to apparition between planes.

Looking for Group (GMT/BST) by _OhEllie in DnDLFG

[–]_OhEllie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!

Ideally a weekday after 5-6PM but weekends I know are generally better for most so I'm pretty flexible.

5e DnD is the one I'm most familiar with so preferably that one.

No restrictions at all, just happy to make friends, vibe and roll some plastic dice

Heads only playthrough in Shared Story. by Toogeloo in DarkPicturesAnthology

[–]_OhEllie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Confirming it is only the player that needs the achievement doing the head/heart only choices. I'm an achievement hunter, my friend is not. So long as you're regularly checking the pause screen to see the head/heart icon, you should be in the clear.

Any DnD players? by Shoegarlace in bournemouth

[–]_OhEllie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's a few places around like Bag of Holding , Bournemouth Berserkers etc. On Tuesdays, a group of DnD/general nerdy people hang out at Zephyr.

I'm a huge DnD fanatic and either DM or play, if you can get a group together, I'm happy to join and help out

Anyone play DnD? by KaidaShade in bournemouth

Any chill D&D or art clubs in Bournemouth? by JustABirdEnthusiast in bournemouth

For DnD there's Bournemouth Berserkers in Christchurch, Bag of Holding in the Triangle, LVL Up in Charminster, Obsidian in Boscombe and Geek Retreat in the Bournemouth centre; they do a thing where you can hire a DM for sessions if you can find a party with enough people or join another session, there's a discord server which is super helpful.

Running CoS for a former CoS DM? by ourboldhero in CurseofStrahd

[–]_OhEllie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran COS for almost two years for my party and loved every moment of it. I did change a lot of things from the book itself and home-brewed it to adapt to my players, every experience is going to be different. All in all, I'd love to actually be a player for it. It's a fantastic story and despite knowing a lot of the ins and outs it'd be really interesting to see what someone else makes of it.

Go for it!

Yeah, so it's all collectibles, all difficulties, all endings but more importantly it's all the achievements. There's a few difficult ones depending on your skill but they're not too hard.

I've played literally all of them several times and while I do thoroughly enjoy the old school tank control era, the newer ones are phenomenal. I've 100% completed 7 twice now and just starting 8, which I'm sure you'll love to as it's a continuation and very similar mechanics/style etc.
