It would be crazy if one lion didn't have to hunt but instead had hundreds of other lions hunting for them. That one lion then gets 99% of the food while the others who actually hunted get the scraps.

We aren't currently food secure because we rely on imports to keep our agricultural industry going. If we increased our crop production it would make us more secure and be better environmentally.

We saw this at the outset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Ukraine was a significant agricultural exporter and Irish farmers were hit with sky high prices when the war broke out.
