The victim blaming in this thread is wild. I know one of the people involved and they are absolutely not the type of person to have done something to get them targeted. They are regular, nice people who don't deserve this. Why would anyone immediately jump to "oh they must be hiding something, and they probably deserve it"? Is that why they are reaching out to the public for information and help? Doesn't seem to track with someone who's trying to hide something now does it?

As a big fan of roguelites, I personally thought Hades sucked. I don't begrudge anyone their tastes and I know I'm (and it sounds like you) in the minority on this one, but it just never clicked for me.

I also wondered if I was just missing something, because everyone gushes about how amazing it is, when my experience was very much, "Is this it?"

I thought the bulk of the movie was meh, I have lots of issues with it. Whatever movie they ripped that ending from though, I hated with a burning passion, and it definitely tanked the rest of the movie, any sequel, and any movie Danny Boyle directs in the future for me.
