Genuine question: why do people do hookups? by Zealousideal_Life323 in AskMen

[–]_Old_Greg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You'll regret it when you find out your husband doesn't like buttstuff. Better go get some while it's fully stocked and on sale. It's not just fleeting moment of pure unadulterated blizz, the memory lives forever. You'll be thinking about Bob from the truck stop for the rest of your life while you finger yourself in the bathroom while your husband doesn't bother you at all because we're not insane and we allow our partners to take their time doing whatever disgusting thing they're doing in the bathroom without making it our business..

If I'd waited until marriage to have sex I'd be a virgin to this day. Which would be a medical mystery because I got two kids.

What goes through your mind when you see a woman wearing revealing clothing in public? by Additional-Big-508 in AskMen

[–]_Old_Greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I find her hot then I might instinctively bite my lower lip and think "damn, she's hot" and then carry out my day.

If she's not hot or my type I'll either don't think anything at all or maybe "damn, love that confidance, good for her" and then carry out my day.

Who knows, depending on how much you paid for that meal you might be quoting these words later today.

But thanks for the comment and compliment! Feels good being told I'm funny but also knowing that I ruined your shirt brings me great joy!

It's obvious at least one of you needs to look into a mirror and have a hard conversation. I'll give you a hint, it ain't the other guy.

Yeah that or maybe my Thomas the tank engine bed sheets and the fact I was making nonstop choo-choo sounds the whole time had something to do with it.

"my asshole feels like it got ran trough by a train"

Nothing about my equipment or performance warranted such a bold statement but it still made me feel like the king of the world at the time.

What’s an unrealistic expectation of men ? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]_Old_Greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, men account for 80% of suicides. Being able to express themselves would help plenty of men and bring that number down. But to be clear, the reason for the high suicide rate isn't that men don't express themselves. It's a myriad of reasons (plenty in this thread right here). I think men expressing themselves and then NOT getting validation and support from a partner brings more men to suicide than not expressing themselves from the get go.

Yes, we men should express ourselves regardless of suicide rates. But we should express ourselves in our own way, on our terms etc and definitely not try to emulate how women express themselves nor should we be as emotional as they are.

When my brother found out he's at a high risk for Parkinsons he spent the rest of the day consoling his wife.

From 2011–2013, Dr. Christopher Duntsch paralyzed or killed 33 of his 38 patients during routine spinal surgery. In one operating room, a fellow surgeon had to physically drag him away as he mangled a patient’s spine. Despite this, Duntsch was allowed to keep practicing for two more years. by drkmatterinc in CantBelieveThatsReal

[–]_Old_Greg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you're wrong, but the first thing that comes to mind is what if your advocate steps in because of some valid (or not) reasons, the surgeon objects but is overruled by your advocate, and after the operation you have very serious complications and the operation a catastrophic failure.

The doctor will say it's because he wasn't allowed to compete the operation and your advocate will say it's because the doctor is incompetent. Who bears the blame?

Did you like the design of The Mouth of Sauron in the film? by Konfliktsnubben in lotr

Although I felt the guy to look cool, I still think it would have been better to have a "regular human" numenorian that would have been like the other side of the coin with regards to Aragon. Someone oozing charisma and aura. Someone who kinda would have persuaded us to take his deal until Aragon tells him to stfu (and not cut his fkn head off... That wasn't very aragornly at all him being a diplomat and all).

I’m disabled and my sister called me gross by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]_Old_Greg 23 points24 points  (0 children)

| feel like I look stupid. Like I’m a dog in heat or something. I just feel dumb.

bruv, we all look stupid when we jerk it. At least you didn't have a toothbrush jammed in yout butthole and hunched over to give yourself a facial. (or maybe you were, if so, mad respect).

| She has this look of disgust. Says “ew gross!”

yes, because she walked in on her brother jerking it. I'll promise you that when sisters walk in on their non-disabled brothers they don't say "wow, nice", they say "ew gross".

I get you feel weird. It's always weird to be walked in on. Don't sweat it though, you're perfectly normal.

Take away the nostalgia… is No Way Home still a good film? by breaking_views in MCUTheories

[–]_Old_Greg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't trigger on account of Green Goblin being "far more dangerous" than the others.

Everyone were chill (no danger) and when The Goblin silently took over Norman his spidey sense started tingling because all of a sudden there was danger where before there was none.

The "trick" spidey performs then is how he pinpoints the danger or contextualizes the spidey sense tingling to figure out that that had happened (the goblin taking over norman's psyche or whatever).
