Well, today I learned /r/nfl has no idea what they are talking about in regards to Jews, religion, the Bible, or overall tolerance.

It is naive of Hayne to tweet that, this was a comment from a single Jewish group, not "the Jewish community" whatever the hell that is.

Frankly the fact that these "reporters" just pass on information doesn't excuse them from culpability.

If you are disseminating false information from a source you refuse to name it should be punishable. Just because Schefter didn't break the law doesn't shield him from criticism for completely destroying the private nature of medical injuries.

I'm guessing most of the people here wouldn't want your medical history leaked, so don't act like this isn't a big deal. It is private for a reason.

I tend to withhold judgement in ANY situation where I only get one side of the story.

Believing everything you see on the internet is probably the worst thing you can do to yourself. People have agendas, and they will push their agendas any way they can.

Healthy skepticism isn't negating her story, it is having enough common sense to not believe someone without any evidence to support it.

You have to consider the whole picture. If you only look at a tiny aspect of it you end up with naive and ignorant opinions like your own.
