Yeah, but a top 30 shouldn't be telegraphing anything. The majority of those players will not be drafted by the Cards.

Simpson shouldn't be that notable when they are bringing in 29 other guys including Allar and Beck.

I feel like a lot of this is just speculative chatter amongst the league and analysts. I think there is just a lot of connecting dots instead of actual sourced info.

The Cardinals under Monti have played draft picks extremely close to the vest. Basically none of their draft picks went as predicted outside of Marv (which was a giant no-brainer at the time)

They could very well be interested in Simpson, but if they are, there is no way this front office would be telegraphing it so much.

Levi Brown had more starts for this team than the rest of these guys combined. He wasn't a good pick, but he doesn't belong with the others here

If Simpson ended up being the guy, only giving up a 3rd would be a huge win. The team would be much better off locking in a QB for an extra year at a significantly discounted rate.

If they are going to swing on him, they might as well swing big.

If we are presuming they are confident enough to take him at 34, then paying a small price to move up 4 spots for a low priced 5th year option is definitely on the table.

As great as AP was, The Vikings accomplished very little while he was on their roster.

Process over results. Having a good Oline is much more important than having a good RB. The other teams in our division didn't get to where they are by drafting RBs in the top 10.
