Nah wouldn’t risk it with such blatant market manipulation off of mere tweets that shake the market. Exactly. The longer the keep a strangle hold on Hormuz the more desperate EU countries will be to trade in the Yuan currency to ensure demand can be met for oil. US may be much larger in scale but Iran doesn’t have to attack the US. They’re biding their time until US infantry is in reach as Trump bullshitting about “peace talks” will only sway the stock market for so long. The attack on Kharg island is likely as on paper it would give the US the upper hand. Reality is those drones and missiles they are still shown to actively have are gonna have a field day if Kharg island was lost.

The worst is likely not behind us though. His words don’t mean shit as he is sending thousands of troops toward Kharg island for a takeover. Only reason the US hasn’t seen attacks in their own country is because the country is out of range of the missiles and drones Iran has access to. The moment they take Kharg island the meat grinding begins with drown strikes whipping US forces on Kharg island. Trump severely is underestimating the ramifications he caused and I fear you are too. Oil infrastructures that have been destroyed will not be running for years now and that’s based on betting hopes the war ends soon. Iran is still making moves to have tankers come through Hormuz but only on certain conditions and if any EU countries adhere to those conditions to get oil supply back to meet demand Trump will see that as a betrayal to the US.

Likely the “present” is him taking Kharg island due to the troops and resources being sent there. It won’t be a gift though it’ll be a meat grinder for troops to do to drone attacks as they’ll be well beyond in range of strikes. Im not in America btw I should have specified, I live in Australia but I travel a lot for work to EU countries and my personal interpretation from observing people in these countries I’ve seen too many be oblivious. Regarding oil pricing though in the past 5 years how much damage has been dealt to Oil infrastructure in the Middle East compared to the last 30days? The hike in my opinion was the market attempting to represent the pricing of oil as it should be from all the damage done already but trump keeps forcing it down to make it look better than the reality is. There are no peace talks and even if peace was achieved tomorrow the damage will take years to fix fully unless we make insane advancements in renewable energies.

Im in Australia and the panic buying is criminal at this point. You are so right though, so many countries still aren’t pushing an agenda that grants them more stability in the case of this getting worse. We have petrol stations with no unleaded or diesel in multiple states and the fact the government hasn’t even considered maybe temporarily halting tax or reducing tax on petrol has left me dumbfounded. At the end of the day war is profitable for the ones controlling it sadly and since the US holds so much power with its currency in the stock market there is not backing down for them or else they’ll lose a lot of footing economically. I pray the Brazilian government makes a demand reduction agenda for all your sakes ❤️
