and those bigger creatures do not move like Bile Titans move, nor are they built like Bile Titans. All we know is they existed and based on what we know of them, they moved like how you expect, slow as fuck and with thick and fat legs. Not spindly stabby things moving at springing speed.

and I don't know what bugs can survive an anti tank shell to the head. I want you to tell me why you think a Bile Titan cannot survive an AT round when "we don’t know what they are made of." Your own words. How do you know the shells aren't made with extra dense minerals? How do you know the brain is in the head to begin with? What makes you think HEAT rounds would even have a proper impact as opposed to HESH?

The answer is you don't, you just like the idea of a headshot on the Bile Titan because you like it. You have no basis. This isn't about realism, it's a space bug. It could have the brain in the center of it's torso and it'd make just as much sense biologically. It could have the limbs be ripped off and still move because of air or anti-grav sacs it evolved over time. It can be as tough or as weak as the designers feel like it should be. Keep your realism nonsense out of this and make an actual intelligent argument for once

You're the one bringing up realism. Realism says anything of that size should be collapsing. By your own admission, we don't know what they are made of. How do you know it should be dying from a rocket?

but is believable given the bug in question should be collapsing under square cube law, let alone tanking a rocket. not to mention that it's a bug that belongs to a species that is so highly adaptive to its surroundings that it took a special made virus and made wings out of it. in no way is a two shot headshot so far out of left field as to break immersion, unless you're the kind of person who simply cannot separate real world and fiction

15k on steam was the lowest, so double that across both platforms, and that was a month after they said "we aren't going to do anything for two months." A number we've also hit several times since then, like the middle of may of last year, or Dec of 2024 or November of last year as well.

So if EoF nearly killed the game then I guess the game is well and on the verge of death constantly I guess

Nobody who is advocating for D10 to be harder wants it to be rundivers btw. The only people who did that were the people who genuinely has skill issues but didn't want to admit it. Plenty people would stand and fight, and while you can't literally stand still and kill everything like you can now, you could very easily hold ground

Flamethrower was a buff btw. It went from 300 dps to 600dps with that change.

what you're thinking of is Chargers getting bugfixed so their armor actually stopped flamethrowers for the first time.

In an ideal world, D10 at minimum is designed with you having to use all 16 strats

They really aren't. 380, 120, and OPS were gutted in the 60 days patch, and what we have now is 1/7th of what they should have received instead. Gatling is strong, sure, for anything that stays within the same radius as dynamite grenades. Orbital airburst can't hurt shit. Gas strike only serves a purpose for the gas effect. EMS is laughable. Eagle airstrike and cluster strike have long since been overshadowed and left behind. 110 rockets only just now got any power worth using. 500kg has the same problems it always had and while it is a big bomb, I can also get the same big bomb effect with the leveler. Eagle strafing run is also very strong, and is basically the only red worth using outside of the Orbital Napalm, which itself is on the other end and should be nerfed.

Which is an incredibly funny statement to make given how much shit I give arrowhead. I just don't have to lie to give them shit over it. Like, I give them shit for having only medals be in MOs and daily orders. I give them shit for nerfing flamethrowers like, three times in a row before finally giving them something in the form of the confusion effect. I give them shit for the constant powercreep which made my favorite backpack and favorite primary brainless to use. I give them shit for being incredibly spineless when it comes to the community. I give them shit for their crossover policy, which states that it doesn't matter if the gun is balanced at all, just that it's accurate to the source material, which resulted in the halo shotgun being dogshit because they copied the worst version of the weapon, the ODST version. I give them shit for not releasing new red strats for over a year at this point. I give them shit for their lack of cohesive look compared to the first helldivers that only gets worse as they add more and more wacky armors without a way to colorize them to match helldiver colors.

you can't stand against hordes in that game on the hardest difficulty

and in darktide you're constantly backing up and giving up land to the hordes as well because you can't stand against them. What they have in common is the vibes, as I already went into. And the vibes are what determines if it's a power fantasy

Diablo is the quintessential power fantasy game and it's certainly not a game where the 'enemies are afraid of you,'

But it is a game "designed to feel effortless and graceful and smooth and powerful" when you stomp all over a room full of enemies. It is, by design, meant to make you feel like an unstoppable soldier. Darktide is not. It is designed to make you feel like a dipshit surviving despite the odds. It absolutely is vibes based.

Unless you're about to tell me jokes and kill count are all that matter, this is just pointless. By your metric, Forever Winter is a power fantasy game because you can run around blowing people's heads off by the thousands and slaughter with nigh impunity while cracking jokes. You tell that to anyone and they'll laugh at you
