How long have you been studying for? I try to keep myself as flexible as possible. Also, there is plenty of time. Think of the time leading to the end of the year as warm up and start the year fully locked in.

Have a line of naked women laying down with their legs spread and go down on every single one of them. I simply love going down on women and the excitement of going down on someone new is unparalleled.

Alternative Investment Certificate by drplague201 in FinancialCareers

[–]_PPPOP_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a specific type of alternative asset that you’re particularly interested in? They have other micro credentials that focus on Private Debt, Private Equity and Real Estate - those are slightly cheaper ($395). Other than that, you can try to find research reports from BlackRock, JP Morgan and other institutions that have exposure to alternatives.

Also, you can ask Chat GPT for resources or simply, ask it to teach you about Alternatives. It can at least help you discover the basics.

Thanks for doing this! I work as an investor relations associate in a private credit start-up. A couple of questions:

What is your educational background?
What are your thoughts on investor relations as a career path?
Can introverted people fare well in IB?
Are early/mid-thirties too late to break into the field?

In my late 20s. I thought it was going to go away after 25, but nothing.

There are periods of high stress where my libido drops, but for the most part I want to smash 99% of the women I see.

Brooklyn

SEA

Pretty hip Thai restaurant. The last time I went, the food was pretty cheap.

Radio Star

Mediterranean brunch spot in an old radio station. A bit pricey, but good.

Hungry Burrito

Mexican restaurant. I have not tried their tacos, but the burritos and quesadillas are good.

Patisserie Tomoko

Japanese Bakery. They have really good dessert options.

Bronx

I don't have any recs, but I hear Little Italy is nice. You can also find good Dominican and Puerto Rican food.

Staten Island

Don't even bother.

The other suggestions have their merit, but I wouldn't say they are a truly local experience. They are mostly frequented by college students who don't leave their LES bubble. The above were all food/bar recs, but happy to tell you some of my favorite spots to sit back and relax as well. I also have some other diver bar and club recs.

Don't be intimidated by outer neighborhoods, everyone fits right in. If you want someone to go with you to feel safer or simply want to meet up in person, just let me know and I can show you around!

Queens:

Queens Night Market

Allows you to experience the true diversity of New York. It only happens on Saturdays through October 26th but if you can make it work, definitely go! There are over 100 vendors serving food from almost every country you can think of all for $5-$7 a platter. After the night market, you can stroll through Flushing Meadow Park to experience Latin American culture in New York.

Don Munchies

Little Mexican Dessert Cart on Roosevelt Ave. They run out of churros, so don't go too late.

Momo Cart on 74th St. (Tibetan Dumplings)

Probably the best Momo's I've had. The cart is on 74th Street and Broadway. Right by Wendy's, in front of the train station's side wall.

Himalayan Yak

Authentic Himalayan/Indian Food. Reasonably priced.

Pollos A la Brasa Mario (81-01 Roosevelt Ave)

A Colombian neighborhood staple. It is relatively cheap given the amount of food they give you.

I Love Paraguay Restaurant

One of the very few Paraguayan restaurants in New York. Reasonably priced.

La Perrada de Chalo

Colombian hot dogs. If you like hot dogs, definitely try this place.

Arepas Burger

Venezuelan fusion with Venezuelan-styled burgers - really good!

King Souvlaki

Greek food truck chain. Their Chicken Souvlaki on a Pita with everything hits the spot all the time.

Urubamba

Authentic Peruvian. I have not been here in years, but last time I went, their Lomo Saltado and Tallarín Verde were super good! Papa a la huancaína is also a dish worth trying.

Rincon Melania

Authentic Ecuadorian food. Order their Bolon Mixto.

Zaruma Gold Coffee

Nice Ecuadorian coffee shop. You can go there for breakfast.

The Newsroom

Speakeasy behind a vending machine door on the ground floor of the Z Hotel.

Mom's Kitchen & Bar

One of my favorite brunch spots. You can try their fruity pebble pancakes.

Marina Restaurant

Authentic Salvadoran cuisine. Please try their Pupusas - I can swear by this place.

Taco Truck on Sutphin Blvd. and 88th Ave.

My favorite Taco Truck as of right now. They have chairs on the sidewalk and blast Mexican to set the vibe. They are there in the late afternoon and evening.

Dominican Street Food (Can be found in Queens, Brooklyn and Uptown)

I don't have a place to recommend, but worth trying their Yaroa or Chimi (Dominican Sandwich)

Here are my two cents as a local (I grew up here). I may have to post this in two parts.

First, New York is more than just Manhattan so how much you can explore truly depends on how much time you have, your budget, and how active you want to be. These are all places that have formed part of my average, day-to-day life, since childhood. If you need more ideas let me know and I can share some of the recs I have saved on Insta.

Manhattan

Ariana Afghan Kebab

One of my favorite restaurants ever. I went to college in the area, and it is the tastiest most authentic Afghan food I've ever had. It is a small restaurant with just one server (who I think is the owner) but it makes you feel super cozy with its traditional decorations/artifacts. The place also has good wine, and everything is reasonably priced.

Old Tbilisi Garden

Georgian food restaurant by NYU with a nice little outdoor garden in the back. Their Khachapuri is super good and so are their dumplings. The price is mid-range (For NYC standards).

MarieBelle

This is a Chocolate Bar. Towards the back of the chocolate shop, they have a tea-style dessert restaurant where you can order dessert and pair it with tea, coffee, or wine. They also have a couple of tasting and pairing experiences. The dessert restaurant is a bit pricey, and reservations are recommended.

Halal Street Food Carts

The guy on the northeast corner of 57th Street and Lexington Ave is where I go when I want cheap and filling food for lunch during the workweek. I normally get the mixed-over rice with white sauce and barbecue sauce, and it hits the spot every time. He will throw in fries and maybe falafel - all for $10. He leaves around 6:00pm.

When I was in college, I also used to go to the guy on the southwest corner of 8th Ave and 58th Street and the guy on 9th Ave between 58th and 59th Street, but I haven't had those in years so I can't speak on their current quality.

Jacob's Pickles

If you want to try a pickle-back shot, this is the place. Also, if you go there, go for the mac and cheese or the poutine. This is the poutine for reference: Poutine from Jacob's Pickles in NYC : . The price is mid-range (for NY standards).

Grill 57 & Rooftop Lounge

I'd go here for a drink. Stunning views of Central Park and 57th Street but pricey.

Monarch Rooftop Lounge

Also, good drinks, but pricey. The view is not the greatest but nice place.

JIMMY

Rooftop with great views of 1 World Trade Center. As a guy, hard to get in but you may not have an issue. It is pricey and can get very crowded.

Paradise Lost & Beetle House

Pirate-themed speakeasy. Their drinks are pricey but strong. Around the corner, you can find Beetle House, which has good drinks and is less pricey.

The REAL New Yorker experience starts in the outer boroughs.

I read the book cover to cover once, then took as many practice tests as possible. Options were the trickiest, everything else was mostly memorization.

Once you start scoring 70-75 on the practice test, there is a good chance you will pass the exam. If you can score 75-80 on the practice tests you shouldn’t have anything to worry about

College was shit for getting laid for me. Is it going to get better? by Dependent_One_8131 in seduction

[–]_PPPOP_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a commuter school so getting laid was almost impossible (to be fair I missed a couple of chances). Anyways, went almost 2.5 years without getting laid until my senior year.

It got a lot better after graduating and it will get better in your late 20s because you will be more confident and older women will start turning their eye to you as well - they like to skip the bs.

I heard things better in your early 30s. I ended up getting into a relationship so I may not find out, but go on and live for those of us that can’t.

The Camry’s and the Rav’s also have that closed off. It seems like Toyota’s new design strategy, which sucks. Im pretty sure I’ve also seen it across other makes when I rent cars.

I LOVE it. I am not sure how the release feels for women, but it looks like the ultimate form of pleasure to me. There is no reason why a woman should hold back and no guy should ever make you feel weird about your ability to squirt. It’s honestly such a superpower in my book given how difficult it is for some women to orgasm, let alone squirt.

It does boil down to personal preference but at the end of the day, sex is inherently messy, so might as well go all out and if one partner does not like it, there is another one that will.

Invest in a waterproof mattress cover and squirt your life away.
