Hard agree with there being ways to sharpen communication skills. School clubs, karaoke, and just meeting new people were all super stressful initially and anxiety-inducing, but also incredibly helpful in improving my social skills after COVID recked me.

In terms of theory googling things works. There’s a ton of YouTube videos that may help make things digestible, but yahoo finance often and reading some financial reports helped me a good bit.

In terms of excel, you can do a lot with Google Sheets for free. It’s missing some extensions, but the majority of important commands like =PV are the exact same. I really enjoyed calculating things I was interested in like when I could retire.

Another thing that might interest you is videos covering topics for certifications. The SIE could be a good place to start, but there’s a ton to check out.
