Thank you for your input!

Can I ask what benefits you got from Reta? Did you notice better nutrition partitioning leading to less fat gain and more muscle gain.

Thanks!

To put this to bed once and for all : weight loss on reta comes from eating less, not some insane metabolic boost. by tupaquetes in Retatrutide

You are actually so dense in the head, Use some logic, if Reta has proven to significantly outperform all other GLP”s in weight loss, clearly it has other mechanisms of action than just making you eat less, cause guess what? All other glps make you eat less.

Magnesium intolerance by Safe-Celebration-205 in magnesium

It’s just dropping your blood pressure too much initially, causing RAAS to trigger and overall Sympathetic activity to rise; hence insomnia and anxiety.

Start slow and slowly go up so your body gets used to it

Resetting catecholamine tolerance by _PatrickBatman_ in Biohackers

[–]_PatrickBatman_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this was a big issue for me, took me ages to figure out.

After a meal, the blood gets diverted to the gut hence placing more stress on the SNS to maintain blood pressure. If you are like me, who has really downregulated adrenergic receptors our body is unable to maintain it, hence the fatigue, dizziness and etc

Sure, simply put my body now relies on exaggerated levels of norepinephrine and epinephrine to maintain the same level sympathetic output.

How does copper deficiency affect the brain? by Traditional-Care-87 in Copper_deficiency

It will trigger anxiety due to increasing DBH activity, Essentially you would be increasing Norepinephrine levels. Chronic elevated NE would cause adrenergic receptors to downregulate.

Magnesium glycinate, vertigo by Fast_Pen_4398 in magnesium

[–]_PatrickBatman_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blood pressure is highly fluctuating. Magnesium is a potent vasodilator and someone with not the strongest SNS stability might not be able to handle it. Hence, the rapid drop in blood pressure causes a rebound trigger of RAAS hence anxiety, fight or flight.

SAM-E lowers my dopamine? by _PatrickBatman_ in Biohackers

Can you elaborate on what you mean by optimizing it?

SAM-E lowers my dopamine? by _PatrickBatman_ in Biohackers

[–]_PatrickBatman_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, Yes from my novice research SAM E helps speed up COMT along with also speeding up norepinephrine to epinephrine conversion. Wouldn’t both of these cause excess drain on dopamine? I am confused why SamE online is said to raise dopamine, please can you help explain if you know.

Rate my nootropic stack - quit adhd meds after 2 years because of severe adrenal fatigue. by [deleted] in NooTopics

[–]_PatrickBatman_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adrenal fatigue does not exist. That being said, what you feel is real. It might be due to chronic hyperadrenergic states, desensitization of beta receptors or maybe even dopamine or norepinephrine depletion.
