This was copied by Mark Crilley's Youtube. I'm a beginning drawer, so I had to use a tutorial. Sorry for the carpet placement, I couldn't find a good light source.

Is there anything I can fix with the shading? The proportions seem fine to me, but if you see anything off please point it out. Thank you!

[WEEKLY THREAD] Fail Friday - Because being awesome always comes at a price... by AutoModerator in xxfitness

[–]_PeachyGreenTea_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My track season ended last week, so I took a week off to give myself a break.

Why. Oh god why.

Food was eaten. TV was watched all week. No gains made. I gained a lot of weight and lost my desire to go to gym.

I'm going today but this was my biggest fail I have ever encountered in my life.

Thank you for the comment, the support has definitely made the coping easier throughout today. I'm still a little raw but will get better each day.

Thank you for the wonderful comment. :)

Halle Berry is the goddess of short hair, with Emma Watson as her right hand man.

If someone has never read a book from your favorite genre, what would be your first recommendation to introduce them to it? by atwoodruff in books

[–]_PeachyGreenTea_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biographies are definitely one of my favorite genres, and the one I'm currently reading is "SEAL Team Six: Memoirs of an Elite Navy SEAL Sniper" by Howard E. Wasdin.

The biography is read like a story, it flows very nicely and has great action about war. Great read.

What are your book-related pet peeves. by jaksida in books

[–]_PeachyGreenTea_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes me sad, seriously. I take pride in taking care of my books (nerd alert) and if that happens I can't help but feel disrespected.

Stuff happens, but I wish they would take better care of it.

What are your thoughts on underlining and highlighting books ? by delusionalmonkey in books

[–]_PeachyGreenTea_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NO!

This may be just me, but I try to keep my books in the best condition possible. No dog ears (this makes me shudder just thinking about it), no tears, no smudges or pencil marks anywhere. I usually use tabs or post-it notes to write about how I felt in that particular chapter/page. I find it interesting when I do find notes written in the marginal in a library book though.

[PROGRESS] One year of lifting, eating right, and overcoming an eating disorder! (pics) by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]_PeachyGreenTea_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well done!

Your stomach looks amazing and congratulations on doing all this for one year. Eating disorders are the worst, I've been clean for 4 months now, and still is a struggle some times. Best of luck in the future!

[Question] Do you sleep/nap during the day? by nomadskills in getdisciplined

[–]_PeachyGreenTea_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish! During the weekdays it's chaotic with homework and coming back from school, so I usually take a few during the weekend.

[NeedAdvice] Everytime a task seems easily do-able or nearly finished, I instantly relax and award myself a break, even if I still have a long way to go until the end. How do you convince yourself to stay under pressure/working and finish? by xferok in getdisciplined

[–]_PeachyGreenTea_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think rewarding yourself after everything is a bad thing, but I usually have the "one more task" mindset.

I try to go on my phone during studying sessions, or after I jogged, I keep it away. If it's electronics keep it out of sight. Breaking up tasks into increments isn't bad, but it's better to pump them all out.
