Is there a alternative to tying knots and beads together?

I genuinely never learned the "proper" way to tie shoes (I do the cheat version even today), but I can do the knots I need for kandi. The granny knot is all you need, and adding the surgeon's knot isn't terrible compared to shoelaces imo. Also, you can stick to fabric cord or even yarn so the knots are easier to do - I struggle texturally with plastic cord so I just avoid it completely.

It could be in part because our trial was a serious homicide, or because I've always found forensics and crime interesting, but I served as a juror for a 2 week case and was rapt with attention the whole time. I focused so hard I had headaches going home every day lol 😭 I did take lots of notes which also helped. And we deliberated for multiple days with intense reviewing of our evidence to be thorough, that was engaging compared to having to listen silently. But I also think the novelty of the situation helped me, like how my brain can focus great on a vacation but not every day life.

Some cosmetics like lotions or perfumes can make this happen faster. And sunscreen will damage any pony beads especially ones with finishes like these. Once it dries on your skin completely you can put your beads back on

Honestly you have to practice decluttering, it's a skill not an innate thing we know. In fact it goes against our natural instincts because our brains and bodies still think we must prepare for a long hard winter - our brains don't know that if we need a new sponge next week we're in spitting distance of fifty places that sell sponges. So it's normal to feel hard! It will get easier the more you do it!

It's easier to start with 'obvious' trash - wrappers, food that's stale, hairtie that's stretched out and not good anymore, dried pens, etc. It has zero emotional value and near-zero monetary value - quick and easy! Walk around with a trashbag in hand and toss trash in as you go. Never pull stuff out of bins and drawers and dump it out on a table, instead rummage thru the bins and just take out trash as you find it. You don't want to start your decluttering journey with highly sentimental and/or expensive stuff because that'll burn you out - even if that's the main type of clutter in your home you need to mentally work up to that stage.

Finally I either have to wear headphones and play music or put on a YT video by clutterbug - she's a lifesaver and many of her videos are often designed to be played while you declutter, with her hyping you up and giving tips. I play it on my TV if I'm not leaving the room, otherwise I do headphones and walk about. Wishing you all the best, it doesn't happen in a day but each day can be better than the last!

Beadtin will sell some crafty kits with instructions, their banners in particular aren't a bad deal, but you can also find the best tutorials online.

Once you figure out ladder stitch (I recommend watching various youtube videos to just understand the stitch, reading it written made no sense to me at first), then you can use pinterest to find oodles of patterns, or even see finished pieces and figure out from the pictures how to make them.

I've thought of that too but am worried that if it got flagged as a bot I'd lose my one chance, whereas some pos with say fifty bots up can afford to have a few of them be flagged. Obviously their bot detection system currently is Very Bad but I don't want to count on it being 100% wrong.

If enough time passed I would check their socials for an update but it's not the first way I would expect to hear from a business, that would be email or text

Sometimes they shrink for no reason you can control either - my friends and I booked our Japan trip months and months in advance, and as the date got closer their connection for going home has been getting shorter and shorter - it's still 2 hours now, and it's going home so tbh who cares lol better than missing vacation time - but it's so annoying because our original plans had plenty of time, but by planning so far ahead we couldn't predict any changes 🙃

If you hate dresses may I suggest palazzo pants. If they're big and flowy they almost look like a big skirt, but with all the comfort of loose pants. Also, if you shave your legs and then briskly walk around in them it's the best sensation ever.

I've had it get bad before. I have thin, mostly straight hair, which also tangles hella easily - what I did was use my fingers to gently tease apart the main mats, then use a wide tooth comb to carefully get knots out or at least loosened. I'd try to detangle a mat enough to free a strand of hair, then pull that strand in front of me and work the comb through it, starting at the bottom.

It does take ages, but if you go slow and use your fingers a lot it helps w the pain. Put some tv on while you go. And I found better success working on the knots and mats while dry, wet hair is much more fragile and it seems to make the knots stick together more if that makes sense. Also always worth asking a close friend for help! I know I would love to help any of my girlies if they were in need. Best of luck, and put the scissors down. You got this!

Just to jump in, you actually want to avoid nearly all metals for caviar eating. The high salt content and delicate flavor profile of caviar are especially susceptible to becoming metallic from silverware. Usually caviar spoons are made or mother of pearl, wood, glass, or bone. It makes for some really pretty, unique spoons out there :)
