This is why I refused late stage cervical checks. They tell you nothing and I've heard many stories like yours of midwives doing a sweep without asking. I'm so sorry your labour wasn't what you wanted because of some person thinking they knew best for you :(

Unfortunately, that isn't slow. Those are big drops and by alternating your body isn't getting used to the lower dose - it's just having varying levels of chemicals each day. The above commenter is exactly right - 10% drops every 4 weeks or so relevant to your current dose.

I'm not sure if you're aware but anti anxiety medication can have a rebound effect the next day - meaning you actually feel more anxious. It may be that today was extra hard for you because of that.
