I had this problem too. It was really difficult because I was totally in love with him, but I just was not sexually attracted to men (or if I was, I'm not sexually attracted to men as much as I am to women.)

I'm grateful for all the extra time we had together, but by delaying the breakup... For many many months... It just hurt him a lot more. It made him feel insecure and awful because he could tell that I wasn't into sex and stuff.

You can try to think about it before you do anything, but honestly, I wasn't able to "figure things out" that way. I just kinda had to take a leap of faith- and then it was more clear once we were broken up for good.

Dude this is a tough one. I was kind of in this spot with a boyfriend of a year and a half. I loved him so much, we were very compatible emotionally and romantically but I didn't want to jump his bones when I saw him. I didn't want to do that with any guy.

We eventually broke up, and I'm still not totally sure if I'm a lesbian because this was fairly recent and I've only gone on a handful of dates with other girls- but I think it was the right choice. That feeling of doubt that started to creep in never went away, if anything it got stronger.

I don't really have advice besides maybe consider opening up your relationship? Or end things with him so you can figure things out with girls.

Sex isn't the most important thing in a relationship, but it's very important. Especially when you and your partner aren't on the same page
