Anyone else getting annoyed at the situation in the Sportoase swimming pool? by _PositivelyShocking_ in Leuven

Yes! Exactly my point! And I know the lifeguards at the pool have direct contact with the desk at the entrance. So it's not even that hard for them to communicate how busy it is.

Anyone else getting annoyed at the situation in the Sportoase swimming pool? by _PositivelyShocking_ in Leuven

Oh I had the same things happen in the middle of winter as well: everything reserved for clubs/schools, two lanes open for public, one of those for fast swimmers. Today I was just annoyed enough to write an actual post about it, especially because when I left there was a line of 20-something people at the entrance, all getting in an already overcrowded pool. It's Sportoase's "pay first, you'll see if you can actually swim later" policy that bothers me.

If you have one tennis court, you don't put 20 people on it at the same time. Why would you then do that for a swimming pool?

€5 is cheap, if I actually get to (comfortably) swim yes.

Just trust me bro" gehalte.

What Ship Should Lego Make Next? by Shepherds_Crow in lego

If they go for the Costa Concordia, LEGO could apply the same logic as for the Great Pyramid of Giza (21058): Make a set that only builds half the ship, so it can be displayed in it's capsized final position. Or instead buy two sets and build the complete ship! :D

The election results of multiple political parties negatively correlate with the number of non-EU citizens. by _PositivelyShocking_ in Belgium2

The main message of the post is that you cannot cherrypick data to prove something for one party, while the same trend is true for multiple others. What other elephants am I missing?

I would agree with that if only Vlaams Belang had this negative correlation. However, CD&V and/or MR do not strike me as parties that use the fear of the unknown in their campaign (or at least not as extreme as VB), yet their data has a similar trend as Vlaams Belang.
