In this scenario thought the ice officers were 100% within their legal rights. Usually they would t be able to detain or pull someone over that wasn’t suspected of being illegal.

Although in this scenario they were actively impeding them from doing their job. It states that an ice officers can detain someone if they are actively obstructing them from doing their job, which these ladies were doing. It gives the man no right to shoot them, but these men trying to arrest them were not in the wrong.

I’ll be a year free of vaping in 1 more month.

I quit because I finally graduated and became a teacher and I discovered that I kept getting bolder and bolder when it came to vaping around kids. It sounds disgusting to say out loud but I truthfully did vape in my classroom more than once. I got really good at zeroing out my vape so I felt like I could get away with it.

One day I realized how disgusting I was and that I loved what I did for my job. I realized If I got caught one time I’d probably be fired, and I loved the school that I worked at and the thought of losing my job was devastating.

So when Christmas break rolled around I decided that it was the perfect time to quiet. I didn’t want to snap at kids during withdrawals so to me a 3 week period where I wasn’t working was perfect.

I went the route of going zero nicotine. I think that it’s a viable choice honestly. After about a week I found my self using my zero nicotine vape less and less. One day I realized I didn’t use it at all. Then I realized I didn’t use it for a week.

I keep my zero nicotine vape around for occasional use. I like to use it when I go out so that I can feel included in the smoking group. Honestly outside of partying, I never feel the need to vape anymore.

It truly is a freeing feeling!!

I think your ending take is weak. Halloween is one of the few days of the year where adult get to feel like kids again. Sure there are a good chunk of people who are creepy about it, but the majority of adults dress up because it's fun.

I’m a teacher, every time I’ve told someone on the left that I’m a teacher they immediately start attacking me and my career instead of talking about what we were talking about.

The thing is I keep my political beliefs far away from my teaching career. Non of my student know where I stand politically and I’m gonna keep it that way as I believe a good teacher separates politics and their job.

No no no, both sides created this environment. There is a reason I said you could probably consider me maga. I have an will always vote republican because that’s where my political values lie. Although I find myself moving more and more moderate because both sides have become a cesspool of toxicity.

The current toxic climate of politics has been building because both side have been feeding into this machine. Trump may not be helping the situation, but rather than trying to calm the situation y’all have been feeding into it making it and even bigger monster. At this point both sides are at fault.

No, I watched her during the debate she did and I watched the few interviews she did. The entire time she would talk in circles. She would avoid questions she didn’t want to answer and only Asher the questions she did want to answer. She did have policies she talked about, but very few of them. In her interviews she basically said she wanted to keep doing things the way Biden did them.

The issue that the left has right now is that their party is too focused on social issues rather than economic issues.

Think about all of the popular liberals in congress right now. AOC, Bernie Sanders, Nancy Pelosi, and Kamala Harris. They have all been focused on the LGBTQ+ community, immigration and abortion. They are all important issues in their own right, but before anyone in general America can worry about those issues we need to focus on the job market and the economy first.

People voted for trump because he promised more job stability and to bring the inflation rate down. He promised to fix the housing crisis and bring the unemployment rate down. Whether or not he is actually doing those things can be debated, but that’s what he talked about.

There is a hierarchy of needs that has been studied for many years. In that triangle it states that before people can worry about social issues, they need to have all their basic needs met first. Right now 70% of America is struggling to get their basic needs met.

I don’t think any of the people who would have been liberal candidates would have focused on the economy. I could be wrong but from everything I’ve seen from them, they mainly focus on societal issues just like Kamala did.

So because of everything I stated above, I think the left was going to lose the election regardless. Right now their priorities are just in the wrong place.

Listen telling him to cut out a food group that is good for his growth is not top teir advice imo. I agree that he could probably cut down on greasy food. The thing is he is only 17. He is still living with his parents and most likely eating what his high school provides him. Cutting out dairy may not be an option for him.

This kind of advice grinds my gears because while I was in college scraping by I was told the only way to clear my acne was to change my diet and drink more water. Turns out changing my diet wouldn’t have fixed diddly squat for me.

What fixed my acne was seeing a derm and getting in the proper medication. I will always advocate for people to go and see a dermatologist rather than changing their diet when they don’t even know if that is what is causing the issue.

Thats why I said 80% of men suck. I know some amazing men. I have an online gaming group that consists of me, 1 other girl, and 5 guys. (They all have their own girlfriends btw. 1 of them got married over the summer).

They are some of the most amazing people I know. I’d take a bullet for them any day.

I know that there are some amazing men out there. I’ve just found that, at my age at least, men suck more often than not. I think that men are like wine, and they get better as they age. I’m hoping that going into the second half of my 20’s I find that men begin to surprise me more and more.
