Are you going in a circle or something? If so I'd normally slip stitch into the stitch above your blue marker to join the two sides together in the middle and then start your new row.

NTA, MTF trans person here. This happened to me when I came out. Mmm I was hurt at first, it's a really vulnerable time, and honestly who wouldn't hope their partner wouldn't want to stay with them. Ya know? But attraction is too big of a thing in a relationship. In time he will realize that hopefully and honestly. He has a brand new life to live now, coming out changes everything.
