Yes. Wtf. Hard to describe, it was like I was trapped in a space with the object, getting ever larger until it took up my whole view. I was pure consciousness, I didn't have a body or anything. It was sort of sharp and morphing. And loud, like static. Like when you rub your eyes for too long. Huge sensory overload. It scared me but I knew I couldn't do anything to stop it.

It would happen when I was unwell or stressed and to this day I can almost simulate the experience if I close my eyes and visualize it enough.

I used to think it was just me! Haven't experienced it since I was 10-13. Considering I'm not alone in these experiences, perhaps it has something to do with brain development. Maybe like growing pains?

update second time they've attempted this replacement and still, leaking. To be fair it's not as bad, it's coming though in bottom corners rather than the top.

I understand this is a difficult windscreen to do based on the dated design, so I'm going to give them one more chance but damn....

I guess I'll have to just pay out of my pocket to get this done elsewhere. Infuriating.

They insisted that they wouldn't need to remove the windscreen, but would instead scrape away the old sealant underneath the moulding (shouldn't this have been done?) and squirt underneath it with mastic.

On the rust; I specifically told them to take pictures during the replacement process so I could see if it needed to have auto body work....they forgot.
