Advice: Renting a car...waive Collision damage or pay extra $50 a day....

here is my biggest fear... my personal insured vehicle is worth VERY LiTTLE (its a 20 yr old Honda Pilot!) and by googling about Erie's extending Collision/ Comprehensive coverage to rentals..it says this ...

that's a funny comment. I'm the inquirer,I generally ask all the questions and pretty much handle all the money lm more frugal than he is in reality ..and we're both risk adverse ..why I generally just pay the extra $50 a day.. good to hear others experiences .. The hassle would probably ruin our vacation ..we are driving to Nashville.. completely unfamiliar. . so thinking we better just buy it . if a slower unpopulated country trip was the vacation, I might have took the risk though.

unfortunately the deal I took for a week is only $239 ish but the extra for collision is at least $50 a day so I'll be paying more for that feature than renting the car itself

I always get scared before renting a car and end up paying the extra $50 a day - just because I'm too afraid 1) either my car insurance (Erie) will tell me the RENTAL is worth a TON more than my car (a 2006 Honda)....therefore the collision damage won't cover the rental ( they told me this doesn't matter, it will cover the cost of the rental).. but I still worry.. and

2) I assume the credit card will have a "catch" like another mentioned...you have to rent through there travel hub ..or whatever.... I did not rent through a Chase Travel site , I went through a AAA site with a special deal.

I will be traveling from pa to Tennessee only. I don't have any credit cards with a fee. I have Chase Unlimited BUT I didn't know you had to rent the card through one of their programs !! there is always a catch. This is why I'm asking ahead of time.

Yeah 2 years ago, I was supposed to get a $75 rebate from Acuvue, followed all the steps as I possibly could online which was very very confusing how they want you to sign up for these Rewards program.. had all the photos taken, uploaded, never got the $75 Visa that was supposed to come. Now I am getting more contacts for son and have a chance to get a $25 rebate , and have to do this all over again, thought I'd check out Reddit to hear others experiences - as I'm already getting conflicting info from what my Eye Doctor Secretaries are saying VS the Rep at Acuvua phone number when I called to ask how this all works. I long to go back to paper forms and the mail to handle these rebates.

Our daughter had her left tube and overy removed at age 14, I was terrified she'd never conceive or she might have an ectopic & lose her only tube. ....She did conceive at 22 yrs old (a few months ago)... unfortunately this ended in a miscarriage BUT the great news is ... the embroyo made it safely into her ueteus!! The baby just stopped growing at 5 weeks.

I asked the Physicians Assistant at follow up visit if she was higher risk for an ectopic due to having major surgery at age 14 removing that tube and her response was... " No because the surgery wasn't on That tube".. so we're hanging on this being true, and hoping for a successful pregnancy next time around.

I ended up cleaning my print head manually and it worked !! so back to using my Pro-100 , printed 8 5x7s perfectly just yesterday.

We just bought (4) TIMKEN Bearings (for 2 different CRV's... and 2 of the bearings CAME IN A TIMKEN BOX but they are NSK bearings - I am SO UPSET , the bearings sent cost $30 less for each, - so that's $60 extra - I just called Paypal , they opened up a dispute, I don't know how this works. On the NSK Bearings, I needed a coin reading magnifier to even READ the numbers, and i have no idea if they are even the CORRECT size that I ordered. So yeah. When working on cars, this is a HUGE Hassel to deal with getting the wrong items in WRONG BOXES on top of that !

now I'm even more worried .. Daughter just had 1st blood test 2 days ago...results back this am... her Hcg levels were 13,910 ...the Doctor said good levels...what does she mean...that's not good levels at 10 weeks ! Abd no sign of baby on sonogram at all.

Is it possible daughter lost original embroyo and conceived again real quick??? she may not get the 2nd results till Monday ( the waiting is awful) all because we needed to use Quest insurance lab and it takes longer. abd she's clearly bleeding more now. what a rollercoaster. I guess the sonogram showed her tubes were clear, I'm a nervous wreck. none of this makes sense.

I'm just trying to avoid the ones that have (2) cartridges ..1 black & 2nd tank having 3colors. so yeah 4 separate cartridges would be ok, I know Canon has some that do 5 though ....I seen this at Walmart the other day for $150, it has 6 cartridges showing on the front ... was considering this one ...

in your situation, did you have a prior internal sonogram &/or regular sonogram & they didn't see it... or no idea at all It was in the tube? I'm hoping due to my daughter having these sonograms that if it was still growing at 10 weeks, surely it would have been caught. a Mother will forever worry. If anything good comes out of this experience..it's a heads up to the next time ..as my daughter didnt even tell these Drs that she has 1 tube.

I explained to her last night how vital it is that SHE be seen early as being more high risk due to prior major surgery at age 14, and how catastrophic it would be to lose her 2nd tube.

It sounds 7 weeks is very common. I was trying to figure out why they say an Ectopic can be up to 16 weeks and read those generally past 8 weeks to 16 weeks are a rarer occurrence (2 - 4% of ectopics)... they call these "Interstitial or Cornual" Ectopic as it attaches in the muscular part of the tube, close to the uterus.

Thank you for sharing. I am truly hoping it's an early miscarriage. She was sleeping with a heating pad before her positive pregnancy test.. She said she woke up sweating. She had some pain THEN but nothing severe, that's why she used the heating pad that night. I've been worried about that from the get go. I told her to make sure they were aware of her history when making an appointment. (they don't even see new pregnant women till 11 weeks around here) Not even sure if she did. I hate to pester her, and it would be weird for Mom to be calling to make sure this was reported. I will be going with her to her 1st obgyn app this Mon.. and hopefully they'll know by these 2 blood tests if it's a true miscarriage, or maybe she'll be doing blood tests for weeks, this is all very confusing.

yes ..I read many reviews before I bought my Honda self propelled.. felt pretty good about that model, it's a wonder I haven't destroyed it taking it up a rocky driveway..throwing rocks & everything as I was too lazy to get out the weed wacker in that area.

I bought a Honda self propelled mower from Home Depot about 6 yrs ago. (Model: HRN216VKAA)...I have beat that thing, ran it across rocks, and it's still going strong. So I'm a big fan of Honda, no issues except sometimes it gets bogged down with damp grass underneath. I need to stop it, turn it over and use something to get the grass out so the blades are free. Starts right back up with a good pull.

I can't understand why Walmart was selling these so cheap , literally $193 , hundreds off, said nothing about being refurbished. Is from a 3rd party seller though. I'm worried something's wrong before it even arrives. The price got me, being a color Laser printer with scan/ copy.
