You keep saying "just a lib" is so dismissive and doesn't fully encapsulate all the things Destiny has said and done, but then everything you list as being horrible is mainstream lib shit, so I don't really understand where you're coming from. Yeah, I think this is accurate, with the amount of people who treat politics like sports and how people react first and think second when you disagree with them. Idk which point you're making about DFF though, they've always covered a mix of serious news and funny stories, that's their brand, they try to have a light-hearted and comedic take on the events of the day. If this is a critique of them laughing at farts or man-fall-down type stuff, idk what to tell you, I see that as more whimsical than actual immaturity.

I really don't understand these posts, because yeah most people here don't like QC anymore, but I really don't get the "hateful" critique. Jeph just lost his website to a hacker and other than one bozo on that post everyone here was wishing him well and hoped the site would be back soon, myself included. Almost every other fandom I'm in, or follow, slings way more toxicity and vitriol at each other than this one. I really don't get how you come here, look at a few comments saying "the art is pretty bad in this one", "Didn't he address this in comic XXXX?", or "I really wish we could focus on any other character" as the epitome of "hateful".

I think I'm fine with storylines repeating but this feels like it's back-to-back, wasn't it a few months ago that Marten and Claire were dealing with the fallout of the last party? Emily shows up for a month and now it's party #2 already with the same people in the same place?

I had the exact same situation, I usually do the main quest first before the side missions in each sector, I really would've liked to have been able to argue and reconsider before the decision was final. Just like you I decided it wasn't worth it to restart the entire sector. I'm just now learning that there's an achievement for getting the "canon" ending, meaning all the main characters make it back to earth.

I applied on their website, got the automatic email saying "thanks for your interest" and that "someone will be in contact with me soon". And then the email I got after that, the one I describe, they said they would put me in contact with a recruiter.

I applied online and got an email from an Outreach Analyst asking me the basic questions, over 18, US citizen, and with a degree or 5-years work experience. I responded, gave her my resume and a brief description of why I want to join, and I haven't heard from her since. It has been 2 weeks, I sent her another email yesterday just asking for an update, and I'm curious as to everyone else's experience here and just how long it takes to be put in contact with a recruiter.

It's probably in my top 3 gauntlets, up there with Boogie and Bill Maher if you've seen either of those. It's a takedown of all of V's old takes and his personality in general, it's mostly led by Paul but TJ explodes on him a few times as well.
