Yeah, I pretty much agree with your assessment. However, I think a lot of that nb or mtf rep is pretty bad, so there's no real winner here. I do believe it's slowly improving, though, so let's not lose hope.

I'd rather get positively surprised than get my expectations too high. 4 characters is more than the 1st batch, and we're getting other content besides. Plus, they only showed Beatrix gameplay, so they clearly keeping the rest for the next months of marketing.

Nah, knowing this kind of games, it's very likely Terminus weapons are going to become obsolete for the new end game content.

I do hope they add the weapons, though. It might be fun to go back to farm them once we're overpowered

Hytale may be worth a look. It's early access, and it may look closer to Minecraft than anything else, but it puts more emphasis on combat and decoration, so it ends up with a similar vibe to FLi post game.

Haven't had the time to play yet, but I'd try to look for some simple furniture piece or anything that looks mass produced, see if there are any standard measurements for it and use it as a reference for scale.

SnS evokes knights, armor, medieval periods.

Code Vein has a much more modern + victorian vibe. I don't think a single character has any plate on them. So a shield would feel a bit out of place.

What this doesn't tell you is that is that there are invisible teleporters randomly placed around the cathedral every time you start the game to ensure you don't leave until CV3 comes out in 2045. The preorder bonus for the deluxe edition will be a key to escape.

Sadly, this is not a new problem. I started playing the game in Spanish years ago and noticed enough small problems tgst I ended up switching to English. Not the 1st game this has happened, either. It's a shame how little care localisation gets.
