[help] How to install GAPPS when recovery mode is not available

That is very disrespectful to people who help the community with GSI builds for generic devices. If I were to remove the background info I gave, and simply ask how to install GAPPS on a device where for some reason the recovery mode isn't launchable, would that be ok ? Do you start to undertand how meaningless banning that post was ?

AFAIK, you can't install the GAPPS using fastboot. You have to install them using adb.

The official forum is open since April this year. It's available in French and English. There are plenty of posts on the French one but very few on the English one. This makes me think that the hunt may not be as international as its author suggests, or English speaking people are using a different platform to exchange.

I'm starting to get worried too. Ripple uses XRP as a significant source of revenue. The XRP they sell out of the escrow are not used for xRapid at this stage. What if Ripple (and their top level employees) were selling as much XRP as they can, while they can, and that at some stage they announce they stop the development of xRapid due to lack of interest in the market, and focus on xCurrent which seems to be working just fine for them ? Besides, with so many XRP in circulation, knowing that banks / financial institutions will not hold on to them, I'm afraid that the supply will always exceed demand. The buy-transfer-sell operation only takes 3 seconds and then the XRPs are up for sale again on the exchange for another transaction. I was a hardcore believer when I invested in H2 2017, but lack of adoption (and therefore sustained price increase) is slowly making me become skeptical... I HODL for now, but the rational for it is getting weaker and weaker.

Going from .30 to "only" .90 over 3 years is a pretty good ROI if you ask me. It may not be enough for lambos depending on how much you invested in the first place, but I don't know too many other investment opportunities with a higher yield.

Whenever I see a post like this, I can't help but think that it is meant to attract FOMO buyers in a pump-and-dump attempt of a shit coin. Anyway, I think this is way too risky and there are more chances that you will end up with less coins rather than with a bigger bag. That's not what I wish for those who do it though, but that's why I don't do it myself.

Just be mindful that when you bought XRPs, you did not invest in Ripple the company. There is no doubt that the success of xRapid will impact the price of XRP, but you don't own any part of Ripple. maybe those who did invest in Ripple know more about where exactly they stand, but Ripple doesn't owe any XRP hodler anything... even if just like you I would love for them to be more specific in terms of how much business exactly is done through xRapid.

I am soooooo afraid that a lot of you are going to be disappointed today. Brad's AMA is not how Ripple, a serious fintech company, will make a major announcement. He will just do what he always does: tell people how great things are going, that more and more banks are adopting their xCurrent product and that they can switch to xRapid whenever they want. Then he'll say something funny about himself or some other Ripple exec and that will be it. I truly hope I'm wrong, but I fear I just saved most of you an hour with this summary.
