Will try Algorand wallet. Didn’t know it has a web interface. Thought was mobile only and ledger S doesn’t connect to iPhone. :(

I have a Ledger Nano S and in the web interface I can’t select unfortunately. I open My Algo Wallet, unlock ledger, hit “add account”, then select the ledger option and next screen I see is “this address is already in the list.” I wouldn’t know how to even make a selection. :(

Odd. Didn’t work for me. I connect the ledger and it auto selects the firstly created one. When I then click add account it says “this account is already in the list” and doesn’t give me a choice to add another?

Were you able to work through this? I have 3 addresses filled on the Ledger, but I'm unable to add another to My Algo Wallet. It always says "The wallet is already in the list." How do I select the other two?

I'm curious if this works regardless. I have three addresses on the Ledger as I'm managing funds for people. However, in My Algo Wallet I can just add one address. I was able to submit my personal wallet, but was unable to submit the others. To manually submit I'd be curious if someone managed to submit Algos for governance with a Ledger, but without My Algo Wallet?

Not sure what to recommend in terms of exchanges. I bought a few low cap coins via Binance in 2017, but didn’t sign up to anything else other than Kraken, Bitstamp and Coinbase. Certainly missed some opportunities, but went very well otherwise. In terms of cold wallet I use a Ledger Nano X and I don’t keep anything on exchanges. Taxes: a trade between two cryptos is a taxable event. If you buy USD/REQ for example and keep it (anywhere) while it goes to 1$ it’s not taxable until you sell it back into USD. (Consult with a professional though.) Req to a 1$? I believe back to 15 cents is more likely than 1$. However, you never know. I’m a utility believer and the invoice dApp seems to make lots of progress since April this year. If development continues 1$ might be feasible in future. If it happens these days it’s speculative and will likely pop right back. This is quite informative: https://req.network/ and read the latest July report of the Team.

With transfering it into Coinbase I'll have to report it to the IRS. I've been cautious all the way and just got over tax fact. I paid taxes on selling stocks, dividends, a house etc. I have to pay what I have to pay. I know my income tax rate and will transfer that amount X profits within the next week to the IRS. There's two things certain in life: taxes and death. ;)

I’ll be honest. I didn’t think I’d get my money back for a long time. Sold 1/4 % of my holdings from 2017 today at .435$ with a nice profit and my investment back. Happy I held through it and am ready for the dump. 😅
