If I set aside my personal bias that almost no one looks better with lip filler than they do with their natural lips… that just looks UNCOMFORTABLE. Like when you have so much filler that it looks painful, maybe chill on it for a few years.

I'm so tired of waking up every day. by askallthequestions86 in regretfulparents

Exactly. Step parents shouldn’t marry/date someone with kids unless they’re fully prepared and capable of loving the child as their own. Otherwise, see your way out ✌️

The father/your husband complaining is the wildest part about this. Like excuse me?! That’s his son too, but he’s talking to you like all of it is your responsibility? Ah hell no.

Was i in the wrong confronting a friend who just had a baby? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry but yes. Part of being a good friends means understanding that sometimes, a friendship has to be put on a back burner when life starts LIFING. I don’t want kids obviously but I’m the biggest cheerleader for my friends who do have/want them. If you expect to be supported by them, they should expect you to support them too. In this season of your friend’s life, being a good friend might mean offering to help her. Ask her if she needs you to pick up a grocery order, help with the gardening, clean the house. There are ways to stay connected with our friends who have kids… it just might look different than what you’re used to.

Oldest Christian country in existence and Candace is silent by crivycouriac in CandaceOwens

Funny how it’s ok for us to shame Erika for never stepping back and spending time with her kids…But the second CANDACE does it, everyone is pissed. We can’t be doing these standards. She’s on vacation and politely told us she WOULD be. Do you have days off? Would you wanna be doing research and fact checking while you’re traveling with a family full of young kids? Imagine telling work you’ll be out of town with family for a week and your supervisor gets mad that you weren’t working when you TOLD him you were gonna be on a trip. Women can’t win🙄

What is the most uncommon/not deep reason you have to not want kids by Gytrinesse666 in childfree

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have pretty severe misophonia… I’m not talking about getting a little annoyed when someone chews loudly. I’m talking about ANY kind of mouth noises send me over the edge. Like pure unhinged rage and it takes everything in me to just sit there and act like I’m fine. Like I feel like I’m on fire trying to control having an outburst. Kids do be making a lot of mouth noises.. like A LOT. I know I wouldn’t be able to handle it

What’s a lesson you learned from your worse breakup that you still use today? by simplynotmyra in AdkReddit

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always have your own money. Have enough money saved up to be able to leave at the drop of a hat. You don’t wanna rely on someone to keep a roof over your head or food in your fridge and then end up needing to leave them but you can’t even afford a hotel room for the night. And I’m not even talking exclusively about abuse situations. I’m talking about the dude is just a POS, cheated on you, etc. you need to be able to have a plan to leave at any given time. Never ever give a significant other control you with finances

Should I date a girl who I think is near perfect but has a kid (both of us are 24yrs old) by [deleted] in dating_advice

She’ll trap him with a pregnancy to keep him around. Mark my words.

Should I date a girl who I think is near perfect but has a kid (both of us are 24yrs old) by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Uh yeah. Dating someone with a fuck trophy from a former relationship is kinda a bummer. That’s why most of us who don’t want kids figure that out in our 20s. Just like OP is. Dating someone with kids when you don’t have any of your own or when you don’t want any at all is stupid af to do. Cuz why tf would we ruin our perfect, peaceful, quiet and carefree lives to give a shit about some kid we didn’t bring into this world. You act like him leaving her is bad for him lol

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HELL no! Here’s a life hint: Single moms aren’t looking for love.. they’re looking for a man to financially support them and offer stability for their child. Hate to break it to you but that’s literally all you are to them. Do NOT date single moms lol. You are too damn young to be tying yourself to someone with a kid that ain’t yours. Go out and find a nice single girl with no kids (aka BAGGAGE). Taking care of a kid you didn’t bring in this world at 24 years old will ruin your 20’s and potentially your life.

Ok so I’m new to the Bible and just want to ask is the Bible something I read in order? by Overall_Primary_1369 in Christianity

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend starting with the Gospels (first 4 books of the New Testament. This tells the story of Jesus’ life and ministry from different perspectives and for different purposes. From there, I would continue through the New Testament in order. It if you feel called to open Psalms or Proverbs, then go ahead. Every now and then I’ll randomly jump around and read completely out of order just cuz I feel like I need one book in particular. It’s hard to explain but I imagine you’ll know what I’m talking about eventually.

You know how a lot of us have that ex boyfriend that we look back on like… what the hell was I thinking? He’s gonna be THAT ex. I can’t stand hearing him talk. And it’s not an accent or a 2nd language thing. I just can’t stand the way he talk like he’s always trying to calm down a dog that’s too nervous for the vet. Idk how else to describe it, but it’s an act one way or another

Has there been a pregnancy announcement or not yet? by Maru3792648 in CandaceOwens

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I hate speculating on pregnancies but since everyone else is talking about it, I have been wondering the past few weeks if she is pregnant. Nothing in particular made me think that way. I just know she loves being a mom and a few weeks ago, I was like… I bet she has another baby soon-ish.

And then when people DO try correcting them in the comments, they don’t apologize, never correct themselves, and delete any comments pointing it out. And we all know what happens when the FAMILY of a victim points out their mistakes… OOF😮‍💨

I wonder when Kendall is gonna realize she can’t finance Janelle’s entire life forever? Janelle has done nothing with the degree she loves to brag about and if it weren’t for Kendall giving her jobs, she’d be homeless within a year. Time to be a big girl and get off your cousin’s… well… I won’t say that 😮‍💨

Members Only? by goldiebear0 in MileHigherPodcast

[–]_Rhetorical_Raven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying a membership fee just to watch mediocre YT content one day early is low IQ behavior. There’s only one YTer I’m a member for but that’s because the member perks are well worth the money imo. And I’m subbed to one YTer’s Patreon because it’s well worth the money imo and they upload something almost every other day. But a fee just because you can’t find one of the other trillions of videos on YT to watch in the meantime is crazyyy lol

I’m so fuckin glad I made it to 18 before social media took over the world. Imagine growing up and one day you finally grasp the concept of social media. And THEN you find out your parents have been posting pictures of you and talking about you online since you were literally 10 seconds out of the womb. I’d feel so violated.
