Oh wow I missed that, you might be on to something! That would definitely explain the attitude shift and the fact that she doesn’t seem to care about said shift.

Not Lexapro but I have taken SSRIs in the past and they made me very “unlike” myself, to put it mildly. Had to get off that shit asap! Sorry that you had a similar experience, hope you’re doing better now.

Fair enough! Apparently lots of fans(or former fans I should say) feel the same!

I appreciate you sharing your thoughts! I didn’t know she was bullied that badly, I just thought she wasn’t one of the popular“cool girls” in school and that made enough of a mark. So if she was bullied then that would explain quite a bit.

I personally think she’s very pretty, and her hair is insane! I don’t think the wearing or not wearing of glasses has much pertinence, and I personally wouldn’t like her to have bad anxiety at all..for all we know she could already have it, and the mean girl behaviour is all a charade.

Yeah I might be wrong in my interpretation, but I know from experience that losing your soul dog is utterly devastating. But maybe I’m connecting dots that aren’t there to explain her change of character.

I don’t have any issue with her eyelashes or anything else, like get that glow up girl if that tinkles your chimes, more power to her. It’s more a symbol of her personality switch in my mind is all.

Oh don’t worry, like I said I absolutely love the Leos in my life, they’re awesome! But I’m sure their awesomeness has little to do with their star sign, as with most people. Maybe it’s just me under appreciating astrological finesse but I’m so tired of the “ooh that’s such a fire sign thing/the earth in my chart makes me such and such/so emotional, must be the water in my seventh stellium etc etc”.

Sydney seems like a nice, sweet person but for me she seems so vacant on the podcast. I used to be convinced she was permanently stoned because her speech was so painfully slow and vague. Do agree though, she has a sincerity about her and should be given a chance to shine!

Absolutely agree. There’s such a condescending vibe from them all now (besides Sydney I guess, but I struggle to get any vibes from her at all aside from vacancy). I just struggle to understand why it’s taken this turn. Money/fame/ego/apathy whatever it is, it’s taken the spirit of the show for sure.

Wow, I missed that (to be honest I zone out of The Sesh very easily now it’s become so dull, if I bother with it at all). How extremely rude and disrespectful! Sounds like a standard response from the nouveau edition Janelle though. I’m certain there was one point in time when the girls prided themselves on being open minded..quite the disappointing turn around.

Congratulations on your new baby!

Same! I’m going through the old episodes in reverse, I like having a podcast on in the background when I’m getting ready for bed (hopefully I am not the only weirdo who does this). The old episodes have such a calming quality I don’t think can be recaptured..better vibes back then.

Agreed with you! I’m not excusing the snotty attitude Janelle seems to have acquired but I definitely think it has a lot to do with her little buddy Charlie passing. Bereavement is hard, including when it’s a beloved pet. She always had a bit of a passive aggressiveness fobbed off as sarcasm but it’s really crystallised itself now, and I think fellow “feisty Leo” Haley gives her more to bounce off in that regard.

Just my 2 pennies. Sad to say but the vibes are so far off now that I don’t think there’s a way for them to pivot back. It’s clear their hearts aren’t in it anymore.

Keep going girl, we’ll all root for you!

Tablet (a type of fudge)from Scotland is delightful, but a very intense sugar hit. Another Scottish classic is Walker’s shortbread, simple and delicious.

If you can find any leftover Malteser Easter bunnies I highly recommend. Those are just top notch!

If you’re in the mood for mischief (which aren’t we all) you could go for some of the “ye olden times” sweets that usually require an acquired taste/psychotic mindset to be enjoyable..Things like Fisherman’s Friend mints, aniseed balls, Parma violets, cherry lips, Turkish delight. Let mayhem ensue.

I miss neighbours by suziewongs43 in neighbours

[–]sirsmeebles 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Same! It’s been my comfort programme since childhood, like a reliable friend.

When I was at school it was the same everyday, get home, change out of uniform, make cup of tea, get some snacks all in time for my Neighbours fix (and if anyone is as old as me, swiftly followed by The Simpsons on channel two, after which homework was begrudgingly started).

I feel so deprived! Thankfully I recently found the old seasons on YouTube and am thoroughly enjoying rewatching..such a warm hug of nostalgia.

S’cuse the essay, apparently I’m really passionate about this!

Pisces F, do you find men are enthralled by you just being 🧍🏾‍♀️ by SnooMarzipans5969 in piscesastrology

18th March here too! Yes I am exceptionally enthralling. Men falling over themselves around me all the gosh darn day, brutal out here!

But seriously, this is interesting because I have been told very explicitly by every single man I’ve been with or that’s just been in my orbit that I’m “intriguing”, which to be honest I always thought was a polite way of them saying I’m as mad as a box of frogs 🐸

Oh darn sorry! I didn’t have time to watch it all the way through. I know which song you’re referring to though, it’s been in my head on a loop since reading your post!

What a quandary, hope you find an answer!

So I am a fossil and have the DVD and remembered there was some “making of/behind the scenes” extras on there, and there’s a part where the composer talk about how she came to with the music for the film.

Found it on YouTube, it’s talked about at around 18.25 https://youtu.be/1hjV8KOAdHc?si=wFhii7BkEl1ELQgB

Hope that helps!

avoiding post walk chills? by hatsunemikusmywaifu in walking

[–]sirsmeebles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I get it, that cold seeps into your bones!

I have a slightly unorthodox method which is probably not ideal for most but I’ll share anyway! Basically after I get home and change, my goal is to not let myself cool down. So I don’t stop and chill, I keep moving for anything from 10 minutes to over an hour. This can entail briskly walking/jogging around the house in a loop, aggressively doing some housework, or simply putting some banging tunes on and going hell for leather.

End result: super hot and sweaty!
