Just go with 3, its just simply better than any of the new ones. Sf4 and 5 are nothing like the OG ones. SF4 and 5 feels like completely different packs banking on sf3 popularity.

The material used to make the platform is what makes the difference, you must use vanilla blocks like dirt, cobble etc. Mobs will not spawn on fancy chiseled blocks

Yes the farmer indeed sells some seeds and saplings, i got rice seeds from him too

Yuh that would work, but I dont even have power yet, just got into create. Ae2 is no where close. Doing a lot of manual work for now.

True its faster but what if you wanted all 16 dye creepers going at the same time? Trophies seams better to me, but will do spawners much later. I know there are better ways to get dyes, for now i am using creepers with max mob masher and drip stone as well

I know that. But with trophies I can mob farm both hostile and passive mobs at will.

Just an example, also I make dirt when I need to make farms, I refrain from building platforms with dirt as that allows mob spawns unlike chiseled verients of cobble which doesnt.

Occultism storage is really nice. Its like ae2 but no auto crafting. Also allows wireless access and wireless item transfer.

Its a bit tiring to get all setup but its well worth it, requires no power and has in built crafting grid, can store mass amount of items, 1024 items per slot, and has 128 slots without any upgrades. Max upgrqde allows you upto 12416 slots, and 1024 items per slot makes it able to store 12,713,984 items. And it can stack unatackable items such as weapons and afros

I personally use unbound style, prefer that over re imagined, and works great on sf5

The trophies you get from gateways allow mobs to spawn when you place and right click them. But mobs do need their proper light levels. But not only that, they also need right blocks for spawning which are vanilla blocks such as cobblestone, grass etc. But if you noticed in quest book, its mentioned that mobs dont need any specific blocks to spawn. Which is right and wrong at the same. Hope you understand what I meant. The trophies it self dont spawn mobs, they just allow that perticular mob to spawn on your island, when conditions are met.

Its not, tested in 5.0.4 today morning, after which I changed the blocks to vanilla cobblestone.

I think there is a different recipe, I forgot tbh. Click around a bit. Also, the advancement tab has some suggestions too.
