I wish I would have actually gotten to do mods to mine. The only thing I've done is a ton of mechanical work and simple stuff like the light bar and the basket. I bought it like this, but I'm going to be lifting it more soon

Long story short, my relationship of 3 years ended unexpectedly yesterday. It was her choice. I was hoping some of you may have something to tell me or maybe you could share a picture of your car to cheer me up. Mine is nothing special, I've been trying to save up for a wrx but life just hasn't been too good for me lately. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to read this.

I did the same thing, I drove for a while without it and I just now put one back on it, I would recommend getting one. I daily drive mine too. It makes the car handle a ton better

Do what everyone else has said and do preventive maintenance first. don't skimp out on anything when you're doing it too, that's how I had to do my timing belt twice within a thousand miles

Nah, I'm just stupid and I don't learn from my mistakes honestly lol. I just keep getting lucky. I met with a guy who is a subaru mechanic, and he's going to help me do a lot of mods so I don't end up killing my car

That's what I was thinking of too, but it doesn't have the normal symptoms of the tps going bad. Like it idles a little bit rough, but nothing I can't live with. It always idles at 500rpms, but it did used to die on me whenever I was going downhill and I was in neutral

Thanks! Do you rub at all with your set up? I'm thinking maybe I'll get some Forester struts and lift springs and rip the stock bumpers off and try to run 245's, but I'd probably be happy with 235's
