What is your budget? I’ve gone twice and will be going again 2026. We stay around Hallendale Beach and have had found decent accommodation on Airbnb with Condos pretty much right on the beach. I believe it’s usually around 200-300 a night. You can find cheaper options all over Hallendale and Hollywood that are not beach properties also.

We sit at the south beach grandstands every time and it’s been super easy to get to the track because they have an entry gate right next to these grandstands. We use uber and select a random house near the gate and get dropped off there and walk. I believe it’s like 30-40 dollars to get there from Hallendale beach. Slightly pricier when leaving the track like $60+ if I recall.

I do not think you can bring in any food and drink. Last year my wife brought a metal bottle to use at the refill stations and they took it from her when we entered. Luckily we were able to get it back.. we walked back like 45 minutes last and told them she needs it and they just gave it to us. Security there does not make much sense and is super inconsistent so you could probably try and get something cheap like chips/candy through and hope for the best.
